Im gonna go and guess that the reason for being able to bhop more constantly on 32 fps is that you essentially have double the ticks per frame. As if the server is 64 tick and the framerate is 32 you should have 2 ticks in each frame. Which explains the consistency of the bhopping as you can register both +jump and -jump on the frame before you hit the ground for a perfect bhop. But what confuses me is why the initiation of the bhops in the video were sometimes inconsistant (could just be bad strafing not generating enough velocity or maybe 2 -jumps being inputed at the same time but idk at this point) and that i dont think csgo had this issue which has the same serverside requirements for a perfect bhop. Which is having a +jump input on the same tick that is aligned to the exact frame before your character is registered by the game as on the ground, which allows for the carrying of momentum until the cap at like i think 300 velocity but im making approximated guesses. But idk im not valve and idk if they even did fix this in csgo or how they would fix this in source 2 because i dont know how source 2 works and if its completely or minorly different to the source build csgo ran in its functions and game logic. Im probably overthinking it for a bug that will be patched in not even a day probably :/

This has actually been in the game since csgo came out originally and I'm surprised it never got patched still to this day. It used to work really well on cache as its quite flat.
No in csgo fps max was capped to 42

I never touched my max fps in CSGO just made my mouse wheel jump and after a few months of consistent practice when i used to play a lot id be able to do 3-6 consecutive jumps a few times a game pretty easily and occasionally you get those 10 or more ones but pretty rarely it was never that consistent.

This was a thing in csgo aswell. Im not really sure this could be patched tbh. Lower fps increases the time window for the next frame, registering the jump for the ticks between the frames. so, its far easier to hit a consistent jump whereas at higher fps values you have to be more precise with your timing

first few hops would require less precise inputs where 5+ it gets noticably harder (CS2 Suggestion, QL did not work this way)
Unlimited frames would probably break the game like if your PC could handle something like 10,000+ fps

valve isnt gonna change the dopplers back, they're making every skin prettier on purpose
well they made rmr stickers prettier but then reverted them completely so who knows
@@skripe If valve were to revert the changes to the gamma doppler skins they would absolutely crash the value of them. For less valuable stickers and skins it wouldn’t matter too much but for knives that can cost more than $2000 it’s too much and would reduce faith in the market.

honestly, valve need to embrace the movement players and just add a for fun game mode with the perfs removed or make them easier to hit while keeping the speed limit at like 300 units or something so you don't have to play at 32 fps, i legit spent ALL DAY YESTERDAY just playing nuke and only playing for funny bhop frags and i literally had more fun doing that compared to playing regularly
So if you have 32 fps on a subtick 64tick you basically double everything? like hitting a perf which is 50% normally so with 32fps the window in which you can hit a perf is doubled. Maybe the reverse happens when you have more than 64 fps and in that case the window for perfs is getting smaller. Obviously just a guess but feels possible. The variable framerate could also explain the inconsistency in everything subtick related. Actually it could be tested by using RTSS to lock fps to 64 with stable frametime and then check if it's still inconsistent. Has anyone tried this before?
I don't play cs2 but it's this level of interest in the engine that keeps me around

32 fps glitch is so darn insane! my Bhop record in csgo official maps is 11 or 13 bhops and you casually broke that without trying because of a glitch

This has been a thing since CS:S, CS:GO had a minimum fps_max but you could use a software like dxtory or bandicam etc. which came with keybindable fps limits.

but its not about scrolling fast for bhop, if you scroll as fast as you can you will hits less than if u scroll slightly slower. 64tick slower scroll, 128 tick u wanna scroll faster. i bhop everywhere when playing allways have lol

this bhop glitch reminds me of sliding in gta san andreas with 25-30 frames
in apex, the lower the fps the higher the chance u get to do the superglide movement tech. i think its the same thing happening here in cs2 bhopping i guess?
probably is the case being that apex runs on modified source engine much like cs2

there is bind in apex for superglide - then you press binded key your max fps became 30 and you can easily hit all superglides

im set max fps 32, but cs have minimum 64. 64 is minimum...
i have little problem, when i bind this command for fps (fps_max 32) on capslock and i go to game i press capslock and i have 64 fps not 32 idk why can you help me?

This only works on flat ground btw it’s just due to the tick system and yes you also need relatively good timing you could try other fps values like 64 128
it caps to 60 but no 32 idk why
so that’s why I’ve been hitting my bhops so well lately…

fps_max command doesnt let me set a value lower than 64..
It didnt on csgo either, you had to use fraps or something else. This bug has been in since 2012 in csgo and maybe even in cs source lmao. Idk if it was uncapped in cs2 but they probably fixed it

What overwatch? Its disabled. And the AI anticheat does not care if you hit 400 bhops in a row, it only cares about if you have aimbot or really high dpi it seems

too accurate and too fucking fast to read are 2 different things. i like it being accurate but the fact that it updates every nano second makes it impossible to read what my fps really is especially with my 360hz monitor since the numbers all blend in together
