✎ FINALLY, my 200th video is here!!! You guys voted, uhhh, 3 month ago?? yikes Aaand HTTYD won by a land slide!! whistles (Followed by Frozen and Animashes). I greatly appreciated your feedback though so big thanks to all of you who voted. 😘 Also, Happy Halloween! This vid was not intended for the holiday.....it just happened to be ready, and the others weren't.
Believe it or not, this nearly 4 min video has EVERY SINGLE TOUCH SCENE known in the HTTYD franchise. YES, I did it. I went through all the series from Riders to RTTE ep by ep for this vid. It was a challenge since its been awhile since I've watched the series, but I wanted to do something special for this otherwise bland vid, and the Trust theme was clearly calling in the song. There's just no greater example of trust than with our sacred HTTYD tradition, am I right? So I guess this is a tribute to Touch Scenes, lol!
I'm really, really surprised no one (at least that I can find) has made a HTTYD vid with this song from Raya. I was so sure someone would beat me to it, especially by now. I was also beginning to think I'd never finish it. Not gonna lie, I've had to force myself to finish this project since I've dearly wanted to edit other stuff lately...hopefully it doesn't show too terribly in the vid. Denial
Anywho, so a lots happened to me in 3 months...lets catch you up. Raya pun (If you are interested in reading this much). For starters, I got a full-time Video Editing & Motion Design job. (With benefits!!!) yay! Its sooooo nice to get paid to do what you enjoy!! (But thats also another reason why this took so long to finish.) When you spend all day at a PC editing, it takes a lot of will-power to come back at night to do more.
With that little bit of money starting to trickle in, I decided to do something I never do and thats splurge! Yes, I upgraded to my ultimate dream PC guys!! Ohhh, he's a beauty..... a VFX/Gaming BEAST with performance that rivals a Night Fury at lighting speed!! Guys.... I think I'm in love! ❤ Granted, not the best time to upgrade during a chip shortage but I think I got a pretty good deal. #dreamfulfilled
And with what was left, I upgraded my editor from VP16 to VP19 with a host of new, LEGAL up to date plugins and toys.....which I tested out in this vid. Definitely got carried away, but they're pretty sweet and FUN!

Yeah, I really got into some of the eps looking for clips. Some classics eps that I'd forgotten about.
THAT WAS JUST BEAUTIFUL! It has been so long since we've been blessed with HTTYD content. It felt like a breath of fresh air! 🥰
I don't even know where to start! Everything was just absolutely amazing! Of course, I've got to mention all the Touch Scenes. That was just one of the many things that made this franchise so magical! "We're all family here" oh my heart! "There is never really anything to fear." LOVE how you used Zephyr and Nuffink there, getting to know Toothless. And that transition of the past! I can't believe you went back and watch all HTTYD movies, series, and specials for this!
Congrats on your new job! Really living the dream! Even if you don't share videos as often, I know you're doing something you love! It can burn you out to be in front of a screen all day, I speak from experience. I've got my own video I've been working on, yes, I found a new link to get footage! I've been working on it on and off. Hopefully I'll try to motivate myself to complete it before the end of the year. ^^;
Have you heard of Dragons: The Nine Realms? A lot of people don't seen thrilled, probably from Rescue Riders, but I'm going to give it a chance. HEY!!!! Yeah, HTTYD edits are few and far between even among the editing community.
"We're all family here" was a slight homage to my OLD "We are Family" vid with ROB sine I used that scene with that similar line. It was like a trip down memory lane re-watching all those eps from the shows. Been so long I actually forgot some of the!
Oh I'm so glad you got back your footage! You know if you ever need something you can always ask me. I hope finish some HTTYD vids in the future. I know you can but I know it takes a lot of motivation these days.
YES, I was shocked like everyone in the fandom when the news was announced! I don't know what to make of it yet, its too soon to tell just from one little teaser, but I'll give it a chance too. I just hope the animation and story quality is solid. Not like the Croods TV series. (That trailer makes me cringe its so clunky). I'm very curious about it being in the future and will probably watch it regardless because its dragons. The new night light looks interesting too.

I remember when I was like 13, and I saw your "I had a dragon" video, I fucking sobbed so hard watching that, I still watch it to this day. Then I saw a million voices, sobbed with that to. Every video I've seen from you makes me cry, I even make my own edits now, but for some reason your videos get me every time- Keep up the amazing work, I wish really great things for you! :) ❤️ And I can't tell you how much I loved seeing you use clips from not only the movies, but from every show, not just RTTE, but Defenders, and Riders Of Berk, even Homecoming.
