Get a fence around the pool. Know someone who had a kid that almost drowned when they were the same age as Leon. It only takes a second for it to go horribly wrong.
I know in parts of the US it actually hurts the sale of a house if the buyers have small children.
Totally illegal in Australia to not have a pool fence....this regulation has saved countless lives
but aus is s police state, you can not compare it

@@brucewaterson2828 whenever you make a law you will also have to think about how to enforce it, should the police come and check if you have build the fence? should the neighbors report on you if you have the fence? in aus you have to send a selfie to the police within 5 minutes when asked for, otherwise the swat team will come for you (true fact). the other way would be to encourage responsible acting and autonomous thinking. in a communist world the state is responsible for you and your family, in a free world you are responsible for yourself and your family.

PLEASE get a fence around the pool. It literally takes only a second for a little one to wander over and fall in the water. Drowning is real.

That was my first thought, don't take your eyes off them for a second. Years ago my mum was visiting a friend when their little one drowned and the pool was even fenced.

this looks SO not your style at all :D no palm trees, in the shadow of another house, very narrow... I mean it's rented anyway so whatever but I would just hope for an honest Q&A why you really moved to Cyprus (or Rickard so to say) and about what happened to the Rolls, the Garage stuff, Rickard's companies? I mean nobody can tell me that you give up Monaco/Marbella, your favorite food spots, friends(?) etc. for a gated ghost town without any individual flair, no public life & culture just for a change or even the money. Also for the Kids & Teens what's there? will they even have any social life? All seems like a weird escape rather than a thought-through change - or is it just me getting that vibe maybe 🤷♂️

@@eggy6857 it's not my or our right - perfectly fine with them keeping it private. The whole Cyprus thing just feels super weird after following them for a few years now and usually Jon talks a lot about why he wants to do something new and the thought process behind it. now it's like "The beaches!...and Rickard." :P

This villa is like the garage of the old villa in spain.. maybe about the taxes.. defently something behind.
tbh with everything you've shown in all of your vlogs, it's a little hard to believe that you guys genuinely think that this place is so "wow, wow, wow" amazing, your Cyprus vlogs have a bit of a 'sales pitch' vibe. But if you like it, you like it so enjoy. Seems like quiet and safe neighborhood, which is nice.
My 2 cents guess: Thanks to their public lifes they are finally in the process of selling this apparel or bag brand to a large company for a lot of money. Of course they don't wanna pay taxes on this income, thus moved all to Cyprus temporarily.

They will be staying there only for 6months because they are getting paid for it.. They are not paying anything or renting anything. It's all about the money.

Pssssssst they are 💗 💗 REALLY REALLY REALLY HAPPY 💗 💗, and everything is fine with them!!!! REALLY. It was all planned: selling Monaco, selling Marbella within 3 months and moving on to such a great Island with a variety of REALLY FUN things to do and to see!!!

BadKitten Hey, I hear you. My bedroom set is from there, going on 25 years. I just know a lot of people equate it with first apt. Furniture. No one wants what's called brown furniture anymore. Young people would rather just toss it when they move.

I really dont like how small and simple these houses are considering how expensive they can be. They also pretty much all have the same layout and look the same from the outside. Its like that neighbourhood has no life. Kinda Feels like the Nuclear test town from Indiana Jones
And it looks that it doesn't have a garage, right? I might be mistaken but I haven't seen that it does. I mean, it's only a rental but.. he's a petrolhead after all.

Your move to Cypress reminded me when I moved to Switzerland and had to give up a house for a small apartment in Switzerland. Considering the whole advantages, the living area becomes less important, infront of the life quality and tax advantages you get....well done Olson-Deler Family

Why this whining about taxes all the time?
One day you realize taxes help pay to make a place liveable. If you're rich, you move to a tax haven; if you're really rich, you move back home and pay to live the life you enjoy.
you gotta be smart, isnt it? And when you are a Billionare it makes a difference having to pay taxes and not having to pay taxes at all

They are in Peyia. "Peyia is a posh suburb of the Paphos District in Cyprus. There is a lot of demand for properties here, mainly from British and Scandinavian expats." For reference, Rickard's Cyprus villa is worth around 5 million euros.

It's the same at the White House. The President and his family can order any food 24/7 for the private residence, but they have to pay for it. Obama and others have said they were shocked when they got the first month's food bill, it was so expensive because they order a lot.
