Nice video, I'd love to see a video on how you use Things. I keep bouncing between Things and OmniFocus and haven't been able to settle on one yet.

Is the paper really that great? I've got my own self-printed stationery cards that I've used for ages, but lust after that lovely designed wood. Would standard index cards work in that base or would the rounded corners get in the way? I totally commiserate with the collecting productivity systems like Pokémon! I'm still looking for someone to recreate the original 1903 Memindex system...

i liked the idea but found the product very, almost offensively overpriced. here's what I did in case anyone else is thinking about trying this: I went to the dollar store and bought a pack of 200 ruled index cards, a dry erase board, and binder clips for a total of $3. I hung the dry erase board next to my desk and wrote my "Next" and "Someday" tasks there, then I collected 30 index cards per month, hold them together with a binder clip, and use one per day for my daily tasks. been working great for 3 weeks now.

I did the same thing. I like seeing one card a day so I just use a wood stand like analog my hubby made me. I don't know who would actually pay for this.

@@rajgabbynatt5915 that's awesome! I do appreciate Ugmonk for giving me the idea. the system works great, i just have a hard time justifying the price for Analog, haha

I did something similar. Ordered a stand for about $10 and found the cards on Etsy for $9

And you can laminate those cards and use them with dry erase markers. That way you never have to replace them.

Hi. Thanks for review. Why are you going to use Strategist cards after Analog cards run out?

I have a product of my own design, I'm a business student, with ADD, making it difficult to organize tasks or prioritize them. So i made myself a task list block similar to this, however mine is made to be cheap, compact, and student budget friendly, with cards you can buy yourself cheap, and creative stencils to style them. I started making this for myself during therapy, and it got out of hand a little, now I'm making them for every visitor that sees it laying around. Was wondering if you'd be interested in checking it out, give me some feedback, the analog is the closest thing i could find to it, which is what brought me here! Sean

It says that Analog is a “physical companion for your digital tools”. I will not be using any digital tools. I will not use websites or online resources. I will not use any electronics or apps to assist me writing down my daily task on the cards. I want to keep everything strictly offline and ONLY use the cards to help me with my daily task. Only the cards and nothing else at all. Does analog work this way? Will it still be beneficial for me to use like this? I will not use analog as a physical companion for digital tools because I will not be using any digital tools.

You do not need to use digital tools with Analog. It can be used entirely on its own. I use it in conjunction with an app, but that is not required.

Are you asking if a piece of paper works without the Internet?

Ok i thought this might have been a good idea, but that pricing is horrific lol.

I wish there was less stock footage. Just talk to the camera, man. :)

Eventually. My setup isn't ideal for face-to-camera footage yet and I haven't had a haircut in two years, so right now I'm better suited for audio only. One day though!
