Years after it took place, watching end of 2023 - beginning of 2024 … I still get chills. Dear Pastor Ulf it is so nice to see we had 100% the same calling, with so the same story it is truly God, as I had the same happing to me. I became a catholic in 2004 after 2 years taking lessons. I came as a Pentecostal Christian from Assemblies of God I was in that church since 1990 and before I was born in the German Luther Church in 1965. So you see their are many of us who have had the same calling. Sadly I have lost my husband on the way, he has gone his own way with an other woman in a Pentecostal church, living a lie .

Interesting move, at least Ulf doesnt let fear of the unknown or something different stop him. I personally dont get excited about a catholic meeting, but then again, a lot of churches meetings are similarly not led by the work of the holy spirit. Structure is useful, but it can easliy replace the holy spirits potential work through the body gathered together.

I liken Catholics in Christian thinking to the Sumaritan woman at the well with Jesus, the Jews kept away from and rejected the Sumaritan people, because they were clearly in errors. But notice Jesus doesn't allow that to hinder the faith of the Sumaritan woman, offering her living water if she will start to seek and obey God.(him). I find a simillarity, the attitude of the Jews(now its Christians), and the search of Jesus for genuine love for and desire for him in heart, which goes anywhere, and calls whoever to turn away from sins(obey his commands), and to have faith in him. Dear Pastor Ulf it is so nice to see we had 100% the same calling, with so the same story it is truly God, as I had the same happing to me. I became a catholic in 2004 after 2 years taking lessons. I came as a Pentecostal Christian from Assemblies of God I was in that church since 1990 and before I was born in the German Luther Church in 1965. So you see their are many of us who have had the same calling. Sadly I have lost my husband on the way, he has gone his own way with an other woman in a Pentecostal church, living a lie .

Interesting move, at least Ulf doesnt let fear of the unknown or something different stop him. I personally dont get excited about a catholic meeting, but then again, a lot of churches meetings are similarly not led by the work of the holy spirit. Structure is useful, but it can easliy replace the holy spirits potential work through the body gathered together.

I liken Catholics in Christian thinking to the Sumaritan woman at the well with Jesus, the Jews kept away from and rejected the Sumaritan people, because they were clearly in errors. But notice Jesus doesn't allow that to hinder the faith of the Sumaritan woman, offering her living water if she will start to seek and obey God.(him). I find a simillarity, the attitude of the Jews(now its Christians), and the search of Jesus for genuine love for and desire for him in heart, which goes anywhere, and calls whoever to turn away from sins(obey his commands), and to have faith in him. That's my thoughts about the matter. What people say they are doesn't matter, faith in and obedience to Jesus matters.
