omg i love the overhead angle
Thanks man! I took a risk with that one, wasn't sure how people would react!
Daniel Schiffer you should make a video about how you set it up. I've been trying to achieve something similar for the past week but I kinda failed so I'd love to see how you set this up! If not a video, at least a bts Insta story or something
Great video and content, but I actually felt overwhelmed by the angle lol. I felt a bit claustrophobic 😑.
Yes, I agree - that angle was killer. It felt very natural - I felt a connection between Daniel and the screen - since he was just teaching something onscreen - and him and the viewer. Creative and powerful.
Killed it
Love the vibes you've got going on Daniel. Keep crushing it
Hope you enjoyed this video, don't forget to subscribe! This entire video was color graded using my new "Vintage Look" LUT pack. Check it out my channel!
I love every one of you guys from Toronto who are making great UA-cam content. Since the others are more focused on the hipe of every new gadgets and cameras which is nice, but many of us we don’t buy a camera every weekend and that is one of the reason I found your videos so much valuable, that set you apart. Thank you so much. Keep it up!
That wooden desk, and that hoodie, both are 🔥🔥👌
Very cool. Made my first Instagram video using your tips.
and this is why I subbed. you film exactly the way I want to film. edgy! and straight to the point. you make editing look easy and these videos are quick. super helpful! really appreciate the work. thanks a lot man!
I’m honestly learning so much from you and love your videos!!!! Thank you so much for the time you take to make these❤️❤️❤️
Congrats man! This one was a hit!
Love your videos my dude. Really think your channel is gonna blow up soon
Yo keep the bangers coming, Ive been doing film/videography work for a long time and I think your channel is gonna explode. Love the shots revealing the process like showing your shotgun mic in the frame. Seen a few of your videos now and they are nice and consistant which is key man. F the haters and keep your natural delivery and flow. Biggest thing is your audio is on point, From a mixing and mastering aspect, whatever your doing keep it going man. def sub'd cannot wait for the next video.
i've only discovered the concept of adjustment layers in fcpx in the last couple of weeks and I FEEL LIKE A NEW MAN
This was awesome - and you crack me up! Thanks for doing this.
I’m subbing Just cuz of the banana
I back it!
It fits his outfit
lol didn't even notice! gonna sub too
S ame
Put an affiliate link to the banana light and I’ll buy for sure!
Never disappoint bro, came looking for a way to fit Instagram stories clean and of course you had it. Straight fire 🔥
Thank you. I’m a beginner. These helpful videos mean so much!
Great video man! Really appreciate the time you put into all of these! Instead of adding the adjustment layer and scaling up though, you can select all the clips and set "Spatial Conform" at the bottom of the inspector from "Fit" to "Fill" and it'll automatically resize all your clips to fit your timeline perfectly.
Another tip, especially if your making content specifically for Instagram is to film in portrait. You’ll achieve better quality footage as your composition will already be setup correctly for Instagram. Then all you have to do it frame probably and film! Just remember to set up your timeline to the appropriate Instagram dimensions and rotate your footage!
Yoooo! D. Schiffer! THANK YOU! Your vids are CRISPY and your info is always on point. This has made my life MUCH EASIER when it comes to resizing. My workflow just got quicker!
did u know that i have i finals next week but here i am watching your videos on and on ? i just found u and your contents are dope !
This is important!!
You're important!
Great job Daniel! Keep releasing these BANGERS! 👌👌👌

The smartest guy I have ever came across is you bro!!!! I'm a crazy fan of you.... Love your work
New sub here! Loved the explanation and the quality of this video. Just enough info and organized so nicely!!
I don't even use Instagram but still enjoyed the vid. The overhead shot was really cool. I am also going straight on Amazon now for a neon background sign!
HBFilms thanks dude! I support that decision 100% neons the best!
Awesome tips man, I've checked your stuff out for a while through the recommended section but finally subscribed. Keep up the awesome work my dude!
Just me over here binge-watching all your videos...Awesome content!
Great video thank you soooo much for teaching me how to do this!!!!
Thanks for watching buddy!
Thanks for this informative video 👍👐
Great video Daniel. I’m finally starting to reach out to local business for video work, and after watching this I feel like I should include an add on for Instagram optimized versions of the final result. Your channel is great, and one I follow closely. Thanks for being such an inspiration and for sharing your process. You are indeed a master of your craft!
Great stuff man! Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Sharing is caring.

I like your style. Very clean and not overly hype
dude, just found your channel. love your work! i just started my channel and already getting a lot of good tips from watching your videos
Loved this man! I do videos for restaurants as well 👌🏼
The issue isn’t so much editing/formatting, for me is finding good content and shooting. I mean if you already have a video with good quality and content, editing is the easy part. But I enjoyed your video
Look up this content on youtube or online Jumpcut.com it will help you put it together in a great way.
Dude, this video was sooooo helpful. There are tons of videos demonstrating Premiere "export settings." However, a major key, that all other videos haver overlooked, is the "sequence settings." This is vital step. I am so happy that I came across your video. It has made my Instagram videos look much better. Thank you for the education!
Love how this was simple and straight to the point! great quality !
I think you record with the 6300 from sony. Can you please tell me how you get these great colors. Do you use a LUT or with which PictureProfil do you record?
thanks for the vid,
your story settings are incorrect tho.
it should be 1080 x 1920 for full screen in stories
@1:12
You’re like the biggest help for me on UA-cam at the minute! Thank you!
Screen shot those sizes and the final cut tips 👏🏻 that’s awesome thanks man
Hey bud what were your export settings??
TheBrandonLeeCook i’m dying to know
Hey help us!!!
TheBrandonLeeCook What exactly are you thinking of? Resolution is spoken about, fps either 24 or 50/60, bitrate should be targeted to 10. (Use H.264)
I’d like know how what his target bitrate is for Insta videos
Hi on premiere pro export go to the h.264 and choose mobile device from the drop down. For instagram keep the bitrate between 6-8. Thats whats works best for me.
this vid is a banger
Toxicclay thanks!! Haha
Thanks for the tips! First time viewer and I like your style.
Thanks! Your process is much easier to do than changing the framing in every take.
Great channel man. Just came across it. Great tutorials and great audio 😄.
Thanks Scott, big fan of your work as well. You may have noticed some of my comments on your videos in the past!
Yoo where can I find the luts you use? Dope work homie!
Community tab on my channel!
First I hear a Chuki Beats tag in the video and then I see Kyle Beats in the comments😂
What a creative camera angle 🤩
Wow your work is amazing!!! I just got my very first dslr yesterday so your totally inspiring me to do videography now, there’s just so much to learn lol. Amazing work, I’m binge watching all your videos now 🙌🏾
Need to try that burger.
FML I thought the square was 1280x1280 😭
Extremely helpful. Love the channel. For sure gonna have to add this to my toolbox.
Great video flow dude! its easy to believe what you are saying because you are literally showing us how good you are with the video showing us how to be good haha
I can't seem to find the adjustment layer/lock grade in my final cut 10?!
I've been scaling each clip haha not very practical. Will try with the adjustment layer in Premiere. Thanks man, great content, just subscribed!!
Thanks for watching! Hope it helps!
You can also just select all clips, than go to the inspector, under spatial control select "fill", and adjust individual clips.
hey Thiago! Where do I set the resolution in Premiere? I don't see the option when I open a new project
Thanks!
Joris V Did not know that, will try it later!! Thanks man :)
blackwell. Hey, after you open a new project, you need to create a new sequence and then select the sequence according with the settings you wanna work on. I usually work in a sequence that is 24fps and 1080p of resolution. Right after creating new project, under the tab Project, you can right click > new item > Sequence...and select the one that fits the video clips you are gonna edit with. Hope I answered your question hehe!
Your videos look AMAZING!!
This was pure platinum
Nice thumbnails
Mans REALLLYYYY want a sushi burger rn holyyyy fam
Bro when I shake off this vertigo we're gonna go for some sushi burgers and bangers
burgers and bangers, thats the motive i like it
Just uploaded my first ig clip using this method, came out so crisp! Thank you!
You Sir are an absolute LEGEND!!!!!!
I need to try that burger!!! 😋
How do you scale up an adjustment layer and the footage automatically scales up together?
still no response smh
Great stuff man! The color grading you use is absolutely beautiful too
That was dope man! Thanks for the tips! Getting FCP soon and can’t wait to experiment with these scales! I like the free editing apps but I’m ready for an upgrade! This was perfectly done! Short, sweet and to the point! Keep it up!
Hi - how do you add an adjustment layer in FCPX
Go to Ryan Nangle's UA-cam channel and watch his video on adjustment layers. It will be really helpful for you!
Daniel Schiffer thanks - will do - great video very helpful
where do i get an "adjustment layer"
Google for RT Adjustment Layer. Its free
Bro your work flow is genius
I know im super late to watch such an amazing tutorial and tips like this.
but I just want to say THANKYOU daniel for every single videos that you made for public,
thanks for every great detail explaination that I found really helpful for me personally as a newbie to camera.
without you realize it maybe,
you know exactly how to share what we need to know and inspiring us to start making a content 🤙🏾
KEEP GOING ! 🔥
I enjoyed your vibes man
Export settings??
Omg, is everyone now starving? Yeah can’t get enough of all those sexy angles.
The first video on this issue that is actually helpful. Thank you!
Loved the video! Short, sweet, and to the point! Amazing color grading as well!
Wait! Was that a Hackintosh?
Nope! Just a Mac Pro!
These days I would shoot vertically as most of views are on mobile
That's exactly what I do 🤘
This was so helpful I’ve been trying to figure this out for months.
Thank you Daniel! This is exactly what I was looking for. It's clear, elegant and super inspiring. When I grow my audience with my bangers, I'll not forget to come back and thank you for the second time :))
When I upload it’s in very poor quality. Any fix for this?
Saul Martinez unfortunately naw, since your essentially zooming in on footage film in landscape mode. You could film in 4K or in portrait mode and that’ll give you better quality results.
4K will have more pixels for you to fill your frame with and not lose quality.
Filming in portrait mode will essentially setup your composition for Instagram ‘in camera’. Then all you have to do film!
w0000 my Instagrams are gunna be B&ng*rs now!!!!!!
Phenomenal points. We’ve been using these points for our client’s Instagrams. Love your editing style.
Super nice! Love it!
love that banana behind you
Bruh, where that hat from.
Urban Outfitters!
Man I love this channel, plus that camera angle where you lookup to the camera...took me by surprise. Kudos and thanks
That’s a slick trick with the adjustment layer
That was so cool! I like the overhead shots of you speaking to the camera.
I was looking for this information. thanks for the banger.

This is sick my man absolute banger!
