I remember getting that Manglor Mountain for Christmas the year they were out. It was super cool to play with for about 15 minutes, but it ran out of playability steam pretty quick and, that and it smelled kinda funky. I can still "smell" it in my memory to this day. ❤
There are new Manglords..sorta. Toyfinity bought the rights and is making them as hard plastic action figures- same purple and green color scheme, more detailed sculpt, and a coupl eof alternate sculpts. They also bought the Zeroids.

Manglors were cool. But the sticking together gimmick was a complete lie lol. After a couple of weeks, you're just left with a bunch of torn up Manglor pieces.
I don’t remember seeing the Ghostbusters toys from that series in stores, but to be honest my eyes would have been searching for Joes, transformers, comic books and video games at that time, in that order. The playset for the ghost busters themselves is pretty dang intricate, and rivals some of those giant Barbie houses my sisters had growing up (saw reviews of it on a channel couple years ago). That castle diabolique is something I would have liked to play with from 5 to about 10 years old. Mixing up super hero’s with a castle that looks ripe for knights on horse back, archers and swordsman? Sign me up (the phallic symbol part is a bit odd). Lastly, really dig the get along gang cartoon, that house looks awesome. I wonder if it same scale as the caboose (I can’t remember if that was for small PVC figs too). Good research Rob. Thanks for keeping me entertained while cooking.
Kenner had a series of mini haunted houses for Real Ghostbusters that never got off the drawing board. But you can see that they used them for the Beatlejuse line.
