"Noct" as in "noct going to be able to afford it". The TTArtisans 50mm f.95 is punching above it's price, but still very much a specialty lens, but it seems like a fun one. 👍
Try the Mitakon 35mm f0.95. It is amazing on fuji.

A friend of mine owns the 50mm Noctilux and the 50mm APO Summicron. Amazing lenses. Of course they are great.
I have been using my Summilux for 4 years now and it is my favorite lens of all my 50mm lenses.

Nice test. a more broken solution is to take a copy of the pic/video on a new layer and run an Add blend mode (since the problem is that there is not enough light, I thought it was a great solution to blend with more of what you have already shot ) Use transparency to blend with. You can also use three layers if you need more light! I thought it was smart as there is no more gain than there was, if there is anything. With this technique you can get your best optics to be 0.95 or less

I recently received the new manual TTartisan 50mm F1.2 for my Fujifilm XS10 last week. $98 brand spanking new! Solid build and the bokeh is so creamy. Pretty impressed with TTartisan. Also, nice vid per usual. Keep up the awesome work.

Rad shots Evan! Thank you for sharing. Was struggeling with the 7Artisans f1.1 with the M240. Liveview helps alot. With a rangefinder you have to calibrate it yourself. It`s supposed to be super easy with a digital M (if you listen to some YTers). Personally I found it to be a longer process anyway, if you want to get it just spot on. Looking forward to more content like this. All the best.

It’s already the 2020s, noct should refer to superb high iso quality and image stabilization, so using the best performing aperture at iso as low as 100 holding by hand is totally possible, thanks to the engineers!

There is another company called 7artisans and they have 75mm f1.25 for M mount, In my opinion it is also really interesting lens) Would be great to see you trying it.

Shots are dope man, lots of greens in your tone. Characteristic of the lens or intentional in your edits?
Some of them it was intentionally when it was more pronounced, but there was for sure some green in the hues straight out of camera on some as well!
Can't complain about getting a usable 0.95 for $700! I wonder if it's just the exact same optical formula as the Nikon, but made using cheaper glass.

Loved it, and i mean you don't have to shoot wide open all the time
hey what do you use to record the bts on top of your camera, I imagine its mainly a gopro but at night time the footage looks to clean so im wondering if its something else.

The colours you get in your night shots are so good Evan. I feel like you managed to create the same look from your Nikon and Fuji, is it easier to get with the Leica? I've not seen what the Leica raws look like.
