Just amazing how good these guys were live. Was incredibly fortunate to be able to see them play so many times over the years. Only band that I know of that sounds better live than in studio. And if you listen to this from their R40 tour it might be even better than this performance, they just got better with age. It’s really unbelievable how much beautifully choreographed noise these three guys made; i truly feel the great composers would have enjoyed Rush and marveled at how they produced as much sound and intricacy as an entire orchestra. RIP Neil. I will take solace in the thoughg that future thunderstorms are just him up there warming up for another show.
You can really hear that distinctive Rickenbacker 4001 "crackle" as Geddy plays his parts. It's the way the E and A strings just barely hit the magnetic pole on the bridge pickup
Crei que era el show de 8 de marzo de 1990 de los angeles, california. Esto Suena genial, actualmente no se puede encontrar buenos bootlegs del permanent waves tour. Un gusto poder Escuchar esto, saludos desde mexico!
The intro to this is wonderful as is the roar that greets the song
A masterpiece from the worlds finest band

Thank you! This is one of the best recordings of this song! L O V E IT! Exit Stage Left!🤗
Simply amazing
Good 👍.
💯
Dam dude, your access to the Rush catalogue has me jealous as shit LOL.....
This is not from the Permanent Waves tour. This is from Exit... Stage Left.
The music comes from the Permanent Waves Tour. Don't argue because you are wrong🤣
Snowdog sure.
Ff to 2015, GED forgot they ever performed it live in 1980
This actually sounds a little better than ESL, because the highs are not obliterated. I always thought the ESL album sounded a bit stuffy.
This sounds like it's from Exit Stage Left, but in lower quality. Am I right?
You're right👍
@@SnowdogPL Some of the outtakes that never made it?
