The whole reason why I listen to this recording still These 3 songs in a row are simply AMAZING!!! I get goosebumps to this day every time the transition from The Tree to Xanadu starts!!!
I listened to this side of the album for the entire summer of 1983 as I painted the outside of the house we lived in when me and all of my siblings were either in high school or on the way into college. Anyway, I was the only kid home for that summer that was willing to help my Dad with some "projects". I prepped the entire back side of the house (probably 80 x 40 feet) with a wire brush, and then painted two coats with an outdoor sealer/primer. The whole house had wood siding. I put my speakers out in the lawn pointed straight up towards the house, my neighbors hated me - but they're ALL RUSH fans now. Miss you, Neil!
I Was up in the Canadian Rockies (Jasper) camping with some friends. Had the tunes, and some drinks and smoke.....And then someone put THIS on!!!....Under the Mountain Stars. Camp Fire going Everyone was speechless. It just transports you to a different place every time doesn't it? Thank you Rush.
The best 3 songs i have ever seen live ,i was 14 at the time and since then have seen hundreds of bands and the biggest names in rick ,but THIS TAKES SOME BEATING,
This trilogy will be object of study 200 years from now. Three musicians in their mid 20s giving the best performance of any band, of any genre, anywhere, anytime.
This has always been my favorite rendition of “The Trees”
Truly epic and one of my favourite sides of vinyl ever
Melhor banda de todos os tempos, aliás Rush não foi uma banda, foi um presente de Deus.
AWESOME 👍
Rush’s live renditions of their music quite often surpasses their studio productions. I love it. Thanks for posting.
Goosebumps every time. Best 3pc band ever best 3 songs from exit stage left. No computer stuff just 3 guys giving it there all. RIP professor ❤

What’s up pipes
It was all the spacey effects Alex came up with on guitar that helped separate this band....but Broon's Bane was just pure Alex.

Saw this concert twice, once in Ottawa, Ontario March 1981, then in December at the Brenden Byrne Arena in Meadowlands NJ. Still have the shirt - lol
