    The more and more I watch him, the more he reminds of percy Harvin, he will make dk and locket more open, and stop playing so far back, since they will worry about sweeps. Great pick in my eyes.

  • @RCunderscore
    @RCunderscore 3 роки тому +22

    I think John said that they were trying to trade back but it fell apart and they ran out of time so they had to pick at 56.
    I also think that they certainly would have taken Creed if they knew that Tamorrion Terry and Cade Johnson would fall to them as UDFAs, but they could never have known that and getting a third receiver seemed to be a priority for Waldron.
    Great video Sam! :)

    Love these videos. My understanding is he was playing on defense in 2019 and missed part of the season due to injury. That along with a short 2020 makes me less concerned about production. That’s griiiiiiiity.

  • @GodBless1121
    @GodBless1121 3 роки тому +1

    One thing you are not mentioning about him getting more than 800 yards in a season.
    1) he will be our 3rd receiver so I’m not worried about that and Seattle still likes to run the football despite DK and Lockett getting 1,000 yards.
    He will definitely open DK and Lockett if they try to double cover both of them. He will be right open.
    2) it’s hard to get 1,000 yards when your coach plays you as a DB as well lol. The guy is super talented. If there was a shortage on the team for DB he would fill in that roll

    The Seahawks got a taste of this kid at the beginning of the year. And now at the end of the year since he’s healthy again. Can’t wait to see this kid work next season. Reminds me of Percy Harvin. This guy is obviously a jet sweep/ kick returner guy. With DK and Tyler Lockett as top 20 WR’s the 3rd WR role is interchangeable

    Honestly I wish seattle had grabbed dyami brown with this pick over eskridge if they were set on taking a wr but I really like what this guy has to offer, and I think he could end up being their number two wr by 2024 if the team wants to move on from lockett. I personally loved the pick and I think Waldron drove it because he needs someone in the room who can do this and they don't have anyone who can to this level. He complements Lockett and Metcalf perfectly. I did love the center and that's a valid take too. Will be curious to see how both play out. Anyway love your work Samuel!

      Here's what I said: "they always seem to pick their guy a bit earlier **than most think**."... I think the "than most think" part is pretty relevant to my statement. I do agree that the Rams wanted him at 57, but most had him as a 3rd-4th round prospect is all I'm saying.

    Well if haters say that Seattle “reached” on Eskridge? What about the Rams picking right after us? They selected the lightest WR’er in the draft in 40+, possible history in TuTu Atwell at 149lbs. That dude is going to get broken up in the NFL❗️Even if they only use him a few play’s a game, it only takes a Jamal Adams type Safety or a Linebacker to light that dude up! You had him getting selected in the 3rd round yeah? Well pick 56 is basically the 3rd round right?
