This was a fun one! If you own one of these, what is your favourite setting?
Bass 4 is cool, lead 1 and 2 are awesome, pad 4 and 2 are cool and I haven’t even scratched the surface on how to fully use this it’s awesome it’s so fun and i also have it paired with a ph-2, ce-5, dd-8, and an rc-1 and it’s fun I wanna replace the rc-1 with the new rc-5 somewhat soon and it’s gonna be great
I like the strings & organ settings the best as I plan to buy this soon . . . My band lacks keyboards so this may be a viable option on certain songs !

Can you play like "real" key-like (piano but keyboard sound) notes, like Simply The Best Tina Turner theme-notes from a keyboard, on this pedal? Like You're Simply The Best, dum dum dum dum, better than all the rest, dum dum dum dum

I've just purchased SY-1 & wanted to know if you're using cab sims/irs & what's the signal chain on the kemper & how can you include distortion through send/return please via kemper?....sorry for heaps of questions.

This is running straight into the input of the Kemper. M.Britt deluxe reverb profile I think with what ever cab was on there. If you want to put a distortion through the loop it’s just send to in and return to out.

Some of the stuff on this video is REALLY DIFFICULT to play, because it's so clean and in tune all the time. In my experience, if any of the notes you play is even slightly less than perfect, the SY-1 will catch that imperfection and amplify it by 10000%, in a way that will never happen with a keyboard synth.
Very true. I had to spend a bit of time with the pedal and adjust my playing style accordingly. Certain tones are more ‘forgiving’ than others but some are a pain to get them sounding real and not glitch. Thanks for watching 👍

Hey there what chords are you playing at 3:18 to 3:26? Great sound there
Just triads of standard minor and major chords. Nothing too fancy.
Good vid, but; are you demoing all of these sounds with overdrive/distortion from the amp or a pedal? If you are, maybe you mentioned that... I can't recall... but the organs and strings all sounded distorted... in fact, everything did... just wondering if the pedal sounds are that way or if it's your amp/effects?
Demo of the clean sound is at 2:29 and again later in the video. Sounds clean to me. It’s definitely as clean as any tube amp would be at gig volume. If you wanted it ‘sterile clean’ you can run it direct to the PA. I was just trying to show it in the way most would use it.

Still never tried the deep impact / future impact. Would like to at some point. The fact that this can cope with chords and polyphonic signals is a massive plus.
