I've seen other youtubers react to Spanish music videos, but none compare to you Jamel, you are by far the best I've seen. I love that you have so much fun with these, you are genuine, your funny, you always find something positive to appreciate in the song or video, you don't judge or criticize, you facial expressions are the best, even before you say something I already know what your thinking. I've never commented on any other youtuber's channel as much as I have on yours. I am thankful one of your videos showed up as a suggestion, because that video introduced me to such a happy go lucky guy. I look forward to more videos. Keep up the good work and just know you have some here that will continue to support you. Gracias.
I love Barrio Boyzz... My favorite boy band ever. They sang in English and Spanish and the dances routines were so good... 💜💜 Miss the old days. ¡De Puerto Rico pa'l mundo!
She looks so fricken' pretty, I remember seeing this video for the first time and was so impressed with the dancing, the clothes, the singing, aaah yes! Thank you for the reaction ♥
I was the Director of Marketing for Capitol Records/EMI Latin (Selena's and Barrio Boyz' label) back then, and oh how I/we wish we had a resource such as you and your channel to share the talent, their talent. Thank you for reminding so many of how special she was, and always will be. Shout out to her familia Quintanilla, Jose Behar, Manny, David, Claribel, and the entire label who championed her so respectfully, even after her passing.
Those passing motorists were passing by classic greatness and didn't even know it. Yeah, the B2M days.😁 One of the guys in the Barrio Boyz group went to sing backup for Selena Y Los Dinos later on maybe a year or two before she passed away. Thanks.😍😘
There is footage out there of Selena doing a live performance of Ralph Tresvant’s sensitivity. Yes! It’s amazing!! You have to check it out. She killed it.
Great Reaction! Selena and Barrio Boys were it in the 1990's. I remember I recorded this video and used to watched all the time great memories. Please more reactions to Luis Miguel, Jose Jose & Javier Solis. Thank you again! I love your reactions 🤗.
Here's a fun fact, as an addendum to my previous comment. When reenacting the astrodome concert for the movie with JLo, Don was brought in to play his part but not Freddy Correa. Freddy was replaced in the movie by Selena's original, and only backup singer at the time, Pete Astudillo, who wrote most of the hits songs that you've been reacting to in your channel. Although he continued to write songs for her, Pete started a very successful solo career 2 or 3 years before Selena died. You should react to some of Pete's songs. He's got an amazing voice!
Jamel, you are so cute!!! Soooo adorable and positive. It's nice to see people like you. I'm Mexican, and I'm very surprised than you choose Mexican singers to react. I live in Mexico by the way, my english it's not that good. Keep doing like this!!
Awwww! Thanks for bringing back the happier times! Barrio Boys and Selena did great! I still listen to it to help me move the chores along - dancing with my broom and mop! :)
@@jamelakajamal I thought you were younger. Well, then you know precisely why that van drove in front of the shot! You remember that choppy east coast streets vibe! Cmon now.

Jamal, I rather watch you than watch tv. Your reactions are so genuine and awesome. You are awesome Jamal! Just started following you a week ago. FYI: This song was also recorded in English/Spanglish with The Barrio Boys: Wherever You Are.
Freddy Correa was a member of the Barrio Boyzz. He quit the band to become Selena's backup singer, along with Don Shelton. Selena's father was going to produce Freddy's first solo album. Then, the tragedy happened and his album was never recorded. Q Productions (that's the name of the production company owned and operated by Selena's father) focused entirely in producing Selena's posthumous album Dreaming of You and then the movie, of course.
I LOVED the Barrio Boyz too! my fav of their songs is "Eres Mi Verdad". what a great collaboration. Selena forever!!! thank you for viewing these Selena videos. i remember dancing to Bidi bidi bom bom in a talent show a year before she died. love her!!!!

Hi Jamel, I had to finally say something to you, first Selena grew up in same neighborhood as me Lake Jackson, She drunk the same water, it also could be why we are similar in our bodies as well anyways, I came across you months ago, I was looking at her old videos and looking for reasons why our home girl lefted us to so soon because I miss Selena I think about what could've been for her. The way you adore her like the rest of us, well it's clear she wouldn't stayed in our small town with that talent that she had. She is 4 months older then me August 15, 1971 and hers Apri 16, 1971 I didn't get a chance to meet her or walk the school halls are run with her in neighborhood because her family (dad) moved to his home place Corpus Christ but I love that you keep her alive, you really honor and like her and it comes across. I can tell you have crush on her but funny enough so do I. I truly wish her family didn't move from Lake Jackson, I know who she is because she came from my little cute town called hwy288 Lake Jackson, Tx 77566 is who we are ☮️ We love Selena.
This old school reaction is a good example of why I like a lot of things I like. The live feel, even down to the cars driving by. You nailed it, that whole "this is happening right now" vibe is missing from the multimillion dollar mini-movies coming out today. I still am hyped for the new MMM coming out in a matter of hours, but that's exactly because I know they will be keeping the live feel on a few tracks. That's a rabbit hole for another time.
@@jamelakajamal For example, one of the members of Mamamoo put out a low-key video in between their amazing big projects, with a guitar track that Hendrix would be proud of. Omg! Barrio Boys was my thing back then. Jamal back in my teenage years they(Barrio Boys) were doing this tour back in my home country, I remember as if it was yesterday I was so so excited because my dream was to meet them or at least see them live and I was going to go to the concert everything was ready to meet them😀 but, the very same day of the concert I had an accident 😥😔.
