I love the sadness in the song. I just read a tweet about how a nurse working with a covid patient had to tell her her brother was passing away. Something about the juxtaposition of this song and that content, and thinking about that Carl Sagan postulate about the 'pale blue dot' makes me weep. We are so much more blessed than any religion in the world could possibly describe, and we are owned and operated by corporations. And talking to people about it leads to violent aggression, apathy, or rarely, complete understanding.
