Exactly what I did (i just havent uploaded the new video for it yet) and it's fixed the issue. There's really no need for proper bushing, this PETG 3d printed version will last a lifetime.
hello I am renewing my request and my question, maybe my question has fallen by the wayside? Thank you if you have a solution.. bravo for your explanatory video, i 'am french. .I also have this camera for a short time, .. I have a little question to ask you if you wash the answer it would be great, my camera does not trigger in normal position on the " white dot (, when I do not put a film in the back / cartridge, .. ... It triggers when I put on the M position (superposition,) and when I put a film in the back / carthouche it triggers at all speeds on the white point (normal position) ... So do you have to put a film on your back for it to trigger? Thank you very much if you can illuminate my lights. Best regards
If you can't find an OEM replacement bushing, maybe you could 3D print one, or mill one out from Delrin or similar material? It doesn't look it's really bearing any load, it's more just for locating the dowel/gear shaft, so I feel like really any stiff material should work - doesn't necessarily have to be resistant to abrasion.
I'm just editing a video to show exactly this White :) I 3D printed a bushing and its done the job perfectly. As you say, its just locating the shaft so PETG will do just fine. Very happy to have finally fixed this issue with my film back. Been bugging me for a few years now :)
Thanks for post, great technical video!!
Print a pla or nylon bushing to make it usable until you can source the bearing?

Lmao, maybe you could even sacrifice a cheap plastic cutting board for a source of bushing material, rather than sourcing a slab or puck of Delrin
