- Ever prophetic, practical and profound, the late and legendary, Rev. Dr. Mack King Carter, neatly summarizes Passion Week and presents it as a paradigm for the ups and downs of life. Hosanna (praise) is nice, but "Hell (crucifixion) is coming", and so is Hallelujah (resurrection). "Hosanna, Hell and Hallelujah all in one week, and from Sunday to Sunday that is a paradigm of life -- all the way from Hosanna, through Hell to Hallelujah -- all in one week".

Right unto this very day New Mount Olive Baptist Church hasn't been the same since his departure and death from us A forever spiritual disposition has gone away and if you' were there you could understand where I am truly coming from especially at times during members and nonmembers funeral the GRACE and the Respect and his poise just emphasized the TRUE meaning of his ways he eulogies their love ones and he displayed so much love and compassion for people at their greatest times of need and he never thumbed his nose to certain people and knowing he had very influential people around him and respect him but Dr.Carter was an equal opportunity sharing and caring about one another and he gave certain employees church employees with their background would had been very challenging but GOD put it in his heart to look beyond their faults and mistakes and blessed them with another chance
I totally agree with your comments. It has lost a Jewel that taught the WOG without walls. He allowed the Holy Spirit to speak BOLDLY through him.

May our Christ continually keep you!! God has messed me up, through Dr. Carter! I love to hear good preaching, and pastor Mack King Carter was a preaching icon! Jesus moved all through that mighty man of God. I'm sure I can find it, but where can I purchase more sermons?
