Lester, as someone who has had both shoulders replaced, do it one at a time. I wasn’t able to have mine done arthroscopic, mine was an open incision. Very painful, much worse than my knee surgery, but you will feel better after you heal. Much love. ❤❤❤❤
I had mine done twice on the same arm. I tore it back open and worse when I lifted a bunch of glassware. Doctor wasn't too happy with me. I'm like you Lester , when I see things that need to be done I do them. Problem was I still had a weight limit at the middle of my recovery. I was feeling great and strong. Lesson for you Lester : when you get your surgery , DON'T LIFT anything beyond the limit they give you. even if you are feeling great, your physical therapist will tell you when you have rebuilt the muscles in the area they operated on so you do what I did. The second surgery I had to have was a lot worse than the first because I tore up more muscles. You are a really strong guy so I think you will do great in physical therapy and get back to work faster than most. You just have to work hard. the first week is hell. Ice and pain meds are your friends then you have to start work. You can do this. Just 1 arm at a time my friend. after you see how good you will be able to use your arm again without all the old pain, you won't have a problem going back for the other arm . Especially if it isn't as bad as your right. Love you ❤

All that yummy grass may be giving Voo tummy aches, the tums will help ease that by getting rid of the gas. It’s ok for being cautious around all the horses, they can be so unpredictable. I hope Voo feels better soon.❤️❤️
Hey Lester, just love seeing the goats running to you. The first thing i remember about you ,well besides the Harvey video, is when you call the littles.

Poor Voo hope he’s is alright and the medication helps. Sweet sissy giving a pit stop forger babies she’s been such a good mumma. Seeing Tilly running with the others is such a difference too. You don't have to be really loud when calling the littles because I am verbally helping you!!! Thanks for all the pleasure that you and Jami have given to me over the years. I have also learned many things from you: building fences, feeding snacks to longhorns, ostriches, horses, donkeys (and ponies), alpacas, pigs, and goats! I have learned about gardening, making pickles and jams from Jami. I also love the feathered babies even though some of them are quite loud. You have to admit that the loud ones have added spice to your videos, LOL! Hope to call you and Jami (and your families) my friends for many years to come. God bless you ❤

Love watching the littles come running when their daddy calls! Ringo sets a high standard of living for all senior citizens. You got to keep living life to its fullest, even through the aches and pains of age. Ringo is amazing. You Lester always make me chuckle. You are still a young man and you need to take care of yourself. Take my advice, only have one shoulder taken care of at a time. You are in a sling while it heals. Love to you, Jami and the fur babies! ❤❤
One shoulder at a time ., Lester that’s to much .. let one heal then do the other one.. you won’t be able to even zip your own pants other wise lol sorry to say
Do your rotator surgery one at a time. It is a slow recovery surgery. It’s incredibly painful too. You need one arm at least to brush your teeth etc. and any other hygiene you can think of. No two surgeries are the same. I’m surprised you have the option of both done at the same time. Not good advice. Do your PT every day. Don’t think for once that you can skip it and do your chores. They are not a substitute. 8 weeks is a short recovery. Make sure you get an ice machine for you shoulder one with velcros straps. Use frozen water bottles to keep it up and continued use. It’s a miracle worker. It’s better than medicine. The one on Amazon is good but the one at the hospitals physical therapy is a Cadillac in comparison. Best of luck Jamie, to you too Lester.
Lester, I just noticed that Stella has 2 different eye colors! Love that girl. Thank you for saving her & loving her. She loves you back, that's for sure!
I just had rotator cuff surgery in January. Do not do both at one time. Do the worse one first. You will need more then 6 weeks. 6 weeks in the sling, then you will need movement exercises then strengthening. Looking at 6mths to a year. I had it on my dominant arm (right). Once you are out of the sling carry weight would be about 500grams. It is a slow processes and you cant rush it otherwise you can rupture it. Right now i cant reach behind my back, lift my arm past my shoulder, going outwards to the right is painful. I am on my second day of physio. But one arm at a time. Do not do both lester. Good luck!
Love Ringo he's been one of my favorites since I started watching you and Jaime. I would get surgery on one shoulder at a time you have animals that need you also you need someone to help you in the farms when you get your surgery done.
Oh gosh Lester, I would do 1 shoulder at a time. Having both at the same time you won’t be able to do anything. Prayers to you for the surgery. I tore mine and it took 1 year to heal without surgery.🙏🏼
Hi Lester ! You made my whole day by showing us you calling for the " littles " to come eat today. I almost cried when I saw all the goats running to you as fast as they could. I laughed when Sissy got stopped in her tracks by 3 little munchkins all needing a drink😅. Sissy looked at you as if to say " time out dad " . LoL. Then we looked back in the pasture to see my little Ringo ( bless his heart ) running to the best of his ability to come to dad. He must need his medicine too. When he has it, he can run pretty fast . I just wanted to snuggle Sissy's babies. That 1 was so cute walking around with a mouth full of hay sticking out. 😅. It's been so long since we saw you do a sweet goat feeding video like this . Reminded me of Ima Survivor days. A big thank you to you Lester for making a girl who has depression days feel really good today ( hugs ) ! I hope voodoo is ok. I might have missed it but I don't think you said what is going on with him. Sending healing and comfort prayers for him.❤
Oh gosh...I will never get tired of the Little's Call!! It always makes my heart smile!!❤ i always have a flashback to the Sanctuary and Annie and all the Pigs come running too!! No one in that pasture wanted to be left out of the field trip!! You would either storytell or open gifts while they all foraged. Those were the good ole' days! My favorite times!! I know nothing can stay the same, but I miss those times.
Poor Voo prolly needs to be dry lotted, his poor hooves. ❤ Sweet Stella, I would think she could feel the vibration in the ground of the horses running, byt maybe shes just used to it so she does coinside it with danger. I just love her ❤
I'm ANITA: It makes my heart so Happy and Full seeing the Littles run when you call. It also; hurts my heart to see Ringo so far behind. Bless His Heart! Thank you for this Video Lester. In the Ant Colony there are some of the Ants and They are Workers. The Other Ants Are Soldiers. I don't like Ants but I do Find that Interesting. Luv From Tenn. God Bless Y'all and God Bless All the Animals
Nurse here. Separate procedures definitely. Once you get one shoulder completely healed, see how well the results of that first procedure turn out. Then you can aim to fix the other. Slow and steady wins the race and that slogan surely can apply to your circumstance. -Just something to chew on. Have a great day and kiss my girls Ruby, Starla, and Danny for me please. They’re my little tinker bells:)😊
I would have 10 knee surgeries before having another shoulder surgery, it is very painful. You have to be sure and follow through with the exercise at home. My shoulder froze up and had to have it taken care of and another round of physical therapy. I would highly recommend not having both done at the same time. Wish you luck with your shoulder surgery, I will keep you in my prayers....🙏❤
Pretty sure Tex dragged that string into the loafing shed so he could entertain himself while waiting out the rain. I used to work for provincial home support, do one at a time. Perhaps set your next surgery up at the same time as the first (assuming a good result with first, can always postpone if not) so there is no procrastinating later about doing it, which is what Jami is concerned about.
Lester my little sister is 64 and just had total shoulder replahave last week and she is doing wonderful. I moved in temporarily to help take care of my 89 year old mom. My sister has more energy than me 😂.
Had rotator cuff surgery twice on the same one, I would do them one at a time.. Love my surgeon and his PA., super nice guy. He does many of the bullriders and his wall is a hall of fame. I can't imagine being down both arms at the same time, we don't realize how much we use them just to navigate everyday things. Remember after surgery, you are never 100% back to where your previous injury.. Surgery isn't tough but rehab is. PS don't do more than you're supposed to after, I tore an anchor out from my first surgery, hence my second.
The tums are in case his stomach is upset. You give horses tums for stomach problems. It is also to make sure that the medicine doesn't upset Voo stomach. It won't hurt horses or cows. In fact if you run out of tums you can use baking soda as well. Tums are baking soda mixed with a flavor powder so they taste better.
Those horsies are a handful for sure. You're quite right not to force your way into their mosh pit! I am glad you're going to get your shoulders done. Do them both at the same time, Lester. I had carpal tunnel surgeries, and wish wish wish they'd have done them both. But I wouldn't have been able to dress myself, so I had to do my right wrist first. I had to miss work ( on the air) for the right one, but was back at it for my left. It was awful. I know you have to film! We would miss you like crazy, for sure, for 8 weeks! What would we do? Talk to your surgeon about the details, but don't put it off for too long. It's not going to resolve itself on its own. Sighs...
Do it separately. One is hard enough. Plus the physical therapy afterwards. Yes, a bidet is very helpful, plus towels the size of a kitchen towel to pat yourself dry . 😂. Hey, it works. 😁
My poor man Ringy - he's really starting to show his age 😢 He went from leading and telling you where to pour the feed, to being last. This is 1 of those times that I wish that time would slow down. As for Voodoo - I will add him to my 🙏 tonight - hopefully it's nothing serious. Because of my full time work schedule, I have missed some of your Friday lunch lives. With your rotator cuff surgery and what you do - doing 1 & then the other is the right thing to do ( in my opinion). Some people would opt to get both done, to just be done with it. Those people don't do what you do - a hobby farmer & video creator. If you got both done at the same time - it would drive you nuts not to be able to do anything ( for the most part). But whatever you decide to do - you have my support 😊 Thank you for ending it with the Wacky Little's - love all of these guys ❤💙 Take care and have a gr-8 day 😊!
I am very late l...but we just got a white husky rescue omg she is adorable soo under weight, and missing an ear but she now knows what love is❤❤ it is fine to be weiry but never show fear!!! A horse will walk all over you!! I got more than a broken jaw from a kick straight back to my face... I did not give up on my love, I am 52 and lucky to still have my BRAT that did the damage but she is the best by far 16 years later... She has always had her forever home from 5 months old so please don't give up or get rid of Rita like some are saying. I will gladly take her and you n Jami can visit in Ohio
I had to have both wrists done. I was super thankful I did one at a time. You don’t want to be completely helpless with both arms out of commission. Butt wiping is least of it. 😊❤
I love when you call the Littles,it never gets old, poor old Ringo, but he caught Sissy up on her Pit Stop😁.Over here in the UK they will only do one op at a time, you will be glad you had it done.I think you will find it hard both at the same time♥️. Those ants are amazing, but destructive, thanks for sharing.
We saw this on Jami 's channel watching the Ants taking food out of the trough hanging on the fence where the female Ostrich are ....watching Ants carrying food in to a Hole in that area. ...🐜🍃🍀🐜🐜🍿🐜🌰🌽🐜..🐜🐜🍃🍀🐜🐜🍀
Lester, my husband has had both his shoulders done. There’s no way he could have gotten through the day with both being restricted. Especially with everything you do at 3 properties.❤
Lester, I’m a paramedic and was in an accident on duty. I grabbed the bar at the top of the ambulance to try to catch myself from being slung all over. As I did so I tore my rotator cuff and tore my bicep and tendon. It took me 6 months to get surgery and had 7 anchors put in the bicep and shoulder to hold it together. Someone told me prior to surgery that this surgery was the worst ever and they were right! I think you should get both done(if your dr will do so) because I’m afraid if you don’t you won’t get the second one done because of the pain. Please make sure they have an ice machine for the shoulder prior to your surgery and get a recliner if you don’t have one. I slept in mine for 4 months after surgery because it hurt to bad to lay down. I didn’t go anywhere for 4 months other than physical therapy because I hurt too much. I don’t tell you this to scare you but instead to help you prepare for what’s coming so you can prepare.
I smile ear to ear when you yell "come on littles " and they run like H*LL. Ringo is my little hero. He reminds me of you Lester because no matter how bad his little knees are he is still going wherever his sisters and brothers go. No matter how bad your knee is you still work hard
Poor Ringo wants some food to. I pray Voodoo is ok. I know Jami use to give Dixie tums to burp. . If one horse gets something they all think they need it too. All the goats are so cute running to get their feed. The baby goats are the cutest. Jami told about the ants ant are very hard to get rid of them. Always something happening on the farm or ranch. 😮❤❤
Lester, I am three weeks out from having Arthroscopic surgery to clean out and repairs to my rt shoulder which is my dominant arm. after looking at my shoulder MRI, the Ortho surgeon said there was nothing right in my shoulder and down the road, I will need a total shoulder replacement. My arm is being eat up by arthritis. Rotator cuff is the most painful and longest recovery of any shoulder surgery. If you do not do exactly what they say, you will damage it and will be worse than before the surgery. The sling is for 6 to 8 weeks , but you have about a six month recovery and physical therapy is a must for best results from the surgery! I also suggest you take 3 to 6 months between the surgeries to have some normal life before you tackle the next shoulder. June 2021 I had C3 to C7 cervical fusion followed by nine months of physical therapy. January 2023 I had L4- S1 lumbar fusion followed by four months of physical therapy. I had to put off my shoulder surgery to mentally be ready for another surgery. Lester you will need to give yourself physical and mental time to heal between surgeries. Will definitely be a time when you might want to bring Uriel or someone else on pretty much full-time to help. Just remember you don’t want to mess up/do what you shouldn’t and end up back in surgery with a worse outcome and longer recovery. You got this, Lester and Jamie will be a great nurse to you. Keeping you in my prayers, guy!👍❤️🙏🏻 BTW I’m 68, live alone, and all of this started from being rear ended while sitting at a stoplight by a 17-year-old doing 45+ miles an hour and did not break. Put off surgery for 20 years by doing physical therapy one to two times a year to keep the pain bearable. I wish I had done my surgery sooner and not lived so long with so much pain. Don’t put this off Lester get out of pain so you can enjoy life.
The horses are concerned about Voodoo too and were protecting him.👍💪🤗 Shoulder surgery is extremely painful and takes a very long time to heal. I say do them both at the same time if you don't want to lose a full year like I did. Get a harness for the camera.
Rita is such a handful! Highstrung as heck. But she sure is gorgeous! Reminds me of Hollywood starlets of the past, like Liz Taylor and Marilyn Monroe. ❤

Good luck!
Please wait for poor Ringo he tries so hard! Love you Ringo! 🫶🐐🙋♀️XXX's
Love Ringo he's been one of my favorites since I started watching you and Jaime. I would get surgery on one shoulder at a time you have animals that need you also you need someone to help you in the farms when you get your surgery done.
Thank you for sharing. Love and Blessings to you all.
❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🙏 Doris, Penrith 🇦🇺🦘
Give Ants A Break!! 😀I love Ringo. He is one special little old man to me. Sissy's halfway stop was so cute. Love to you all from UK ❤
Lester you are far from stupid a healthy respect for big animals is smart ❤
Thank you Amy.
Oh gosh Lester, I would do 1 shoulder at a time. Having both at the same time you won’t be able to do anything. Prayers to you for the surgery. I tore mine and it took 1 year to heal without surgery.🙏🏼
Wow.
Sending healing and comfort prayers for him.❤
Ringo and I agree he's a super star. ❤😊
I miss those times as well!! Amazing memories ❤
@@longhornlesters You can say that again!!
Agree 100% all the hilarity that ensued during the gifts and goodies with the littles😂😂❤
@@amyfitch3005 I know!! It was great! There was usually treats that got discovered! Goats climbing all over the 4x4. 😂😂
I do too❤ That’s why I started watching the goat are so funny n playful i love it ..💕😂
Y'all show your beautiful horses Luv n attention.. while being safe n cautious!...Nothing wrong with that, Lester!! 💞💯👍
Respect and healthy fear is important. Man, Rita is just beautiful. She is really something.
What a wonderful site. I love when you call the “littles” and to see them run to you. So fine.😊
Hey guy’s hope you’re having a blessed day today ❤
You’re so kind Carol. I hope you’re having a blessed day as well.
Poor Voo prolly needs to be dry lotted, his poor hooves. ❤ Sweet Stella, I would think she could feel the vibration in the ground of the horses running, byt maybe shes just used to it so she does coinside it with danger. I just love her ❤
Awwe, I love Ringo. Lol how cute sissy had to make a pit stop. Ants are so neat to watch as much as they are a pain.
I love when you call the littles up. Sending prayers of Voodoo. 🙏
Thank you Robin.
Ants work so hard I like watching them- on video!!
I have seen them on TV nature films. They are marvelous. You're lucky to see it in person,
I would have 10 knee surgeries
before having another shoulder surgery, it is very painful. You have to be sure and follow through with the exercise at home. My shoulder froze up and had to have it taken care of and another round of physical therapy. I would highly recommend not having both done at the same time. Wish you luck
with your shoulder surgery, I will
keep you in my prayers....🙏❤
Awe sweet Ringo I absolutely love him
The ground is moving and shaking 😂 I love seeing them running to daddy❤
I love calling them!!
Sighs...
Love Ringo bless him he's my favourite goat I love the others but Ringo has a special place in my heart ❤
Sissy is the best mom.
She is ❤
Lester you have always done what's best for your family, pastures, farm and animals so do ya thang, you know whats best
I love when you call "Come on Littles" and they run to you Lester.
💖❤💘💝💓I love watching your videos, thank you for sharing and have a great evening!
I love Stella!! Love seeing her enjoying life!!
It is heart warming to see the giats book it when you call.
Scary ants. Babies goats so cute don’t want to be late for their meal and Ringo looks healthy and happy. ❤❤
CBD oil has helped a lot.
2:25 Lester, you found their hole! Go get G.I.Jami! Go get G.I.JAMI!!! She'll know what she needs to do ... 👀👏👏👏💯
💙🙏🍀 healing/positive vibes sent for everyone
Looks like Ringo has missed some of his daily CBD oil doses. ❤
Oops..😅
Lester I've had one done and NO WAY would have both at the same time!!
I smile ear to ear when you yell "come on littles " and they run like H*LL. Ringo is my little hero. He reminds me of you Lester because no matter how bad his little knees are he is still going wherever his sisters and brothers go. No matter how bad your knee is you still work hard
Lester I sure wouldn't go in that shed with all 4 of those horses either. I respect that they are huge and can hurt you!! Better safe than sorry 😊
C’mon, Littles! Never gets old! 😆
It’s a classic!!!
My husband had the shoulder surgery and he did great. Go for it!
Keeping you in my prayers, guy!👍❤️🙏🏻
BTW I’m 68, live alone, and all of this started from being rear ended while sitting at a stoplight by a 17-year-old doing 45+ miles an hour and did not break. Put off surgery for 20 years by doing physical therapy one to two times a year to keep the pain bearable. I wish I had done my surgery sooner and not lived so long with so much pain. Don’t put this off Lester get out of pain so you can enjoy life.
I could watch Ringo all the time. Wish to see him more still my favourite
Poor Voodoo. I hope the tums help him. He is getting up there age wise.
Jami was looking for the leaf cutter ant nest. They will destroy everything.😓
Awwww poor Voodoo.. I hope he feels better soon🤗💙
Unfortunately, it is likely that leafcutter ants make quite a few satellite nests, each of which that Jamie and Lester will need to look for
Let Jami know you found the entrance! Poor some Diatomaceous Earth powder down in that ant hole! It's safe for animals and will kill the ants! 🐜 🐜
The horses are concerned about Voodoo too and were protecting him.👍💪🤗
Shoulder surgery is extremely painful and takes a very long time to heal.
Good evening Lester that is so sweet when you see all them goats running in when you call them boy do they know time to eat wow😊 Ringo is so sweet he’s one of my favorites but you know you feed all your animals good not just your goats Lester you feed them all good that is too cool. I’ve never seen anything like that with the ants. Wow that is so amazing. Yeah they look like they’re destructive. I just love that Stella.
