Hi, I see we didn't update this for a long time, but a lot has been happening. The engine shown here has evolved and next-generation engines are becoming available. See the link in the main text for the situation mid-2015. There is a lot of information and inspiration there. Thanks for coming by.

The SunPulse Water pump entered production in Indonesia this week.
That means the first model of the zero series is off the production
line. Initial test results are excellent. Now there's a cycle of
testing before the next series and ramping up production. The first
production models are all pre-booked. I guess at roughly end of the
year availability for SunPulse Water for new customers. Afterwards,
    the SunPulse Electric.

I love what I am seeing! This engine only becomes more efficient the greater the temperature difference and can actually be used in cold weather as well. What you share sparks the creativity in my mind. Thank you

now all you need to do is add some buffer systems so the pulse from the piston isn't so noticeable in the power output and water flow, sensitive electronics would have a bad time connected to power from one of those without a buffer battery and inverter system. the water pressure also jumps around quite alot, which could be solved with a water tower.

Depends on a lot of factors. Location, application etc. It's not
expensive. Contact solarvillage(AT)tamera.org for answers to
specific questions. Thank you for your interest!

Considering that we lack some of the elements needed to electrify the World (like lithium), this might very well be the future. Now it just needs to simplified, so that the manufacturing uses as little resources as possible (equaling "cheap"). Low temperature heat engines might not produce a lot of power compared to their size, but they run on the only sustainable energy source being the Sun, and they don't need a steam turbine. The closest thing to "free energy" you will find on UA-cam.

    Fantastic!
    But where are the plans?
Are you releasing this to the world?
Are construction plans available, or do you sell the units?
Best way to help millions would surely be to release constructional plans so everyone could build their own!

"a world where cooperation pays more than competition" is the most important point of this video to me. and the most important Lesson for everyone to learn around the world. We need to get rid of this wasteful consumer society in the words of Jacque Fresco on capitalism "this shit has got to go"

So what is the time scale for producing such an engine and how widespread is it?

  • @StirlingEngine123
    @StirlingEngine123 12 років тому +1

It seems that it can produce realy clean energy at low cost, and with high efficiency. In this case, I guess size doesn't matter at all, and producing almost 2 Kw, for a "big" LTD engine it seems an effective effort to reduce some environemental problems...

  • @EdukasiDIYTutorial-ec9ke

I am still thinking... you need active cooling for the cold side of stirling engine to produce alot of power... and you need maybe 100 unit to produce 1 kilowatt power..

Hello, I would like to have more information about this project, be it through articles, reports, etc. I am developing a project on stirling engine for water pumping in small rural properties in the state of Pará - Brazil. The research is being developed in an extension project of the Federal University of Southern and Southeastern Pará - Unifesspa. Thanks for any help.
