It is very heartening to note that he enjoyed writting and teaching the word of God. What a great man of God that he was?. Thanks be to God that he wrote the book more than a half a century ago titled Knowing God. Surely millions of souls would have been transformed by it. RIP to J.I. Packer.
Packer was one of the first theologians, after Scriptures and Spurgeon, that I read with utter enjoyment. If you can find any of his writings, I would suggest that you read them to learn more about His Word as he was a great theologian, now at home with the Lord.

I was fortunate enough to hear him teach and spend time with him.
I dont even know him personally - but listening to this brought tears to my eyes and peace to my heart.
He was a wonderfully sensitive teacher and mentor to so many.
