This Video Is For Educational Purposes. It is meant to show the psychology behind how police interact with suspects to try and get their confession.
In this jcs inspired true crime documentary, we take a look at the interrogation of Ivan Clay Jr.
Our Main Channel.

i can't stand when you clowns yap over the video "ivan opens the door" yeah... we can SEE that. we can literally SEE it happening in front of our eyes. you are about as useless as people who do those reaction videos and they are just like "oooh" "ahh" "wow"

We all know the parts where the subtitles have a hard time understanding. 😂😂

It's refreshing to hear a mom call out her kid's criminal behavior; not enabling him or making excuses.
I just noticed! It should get, like, some medal or award or something.
The mother IS the reason this little kid is in jail in the first place……and it’s obviously not his first time since he already has his very own parole officer.
Someone can have good parents, but still turn to a life of crime.
As someone who was In trouble alot as a kid and had a mother who did everything to raise me right.
Sometimes it's the kids fault and not the parents
@@365ral Of course, but after listening to this kid’s mother, I know she is not a good mother/parent.
This was definitely one of the most clearest interrogation room cameras.
It’s clear enough that I can make out what time it is throughout the video. That’s crazy
fr. can even see it's April 25th lmao
Dude looks like Kenny from Southpark.
Too bad the sound isn’t clear 😂
Fr, looks like they had a little extra money to spend and decided to get the 1080p/1440p resolution lol
"Jail not for me, mommy," says the "gangster" on a recorded line.
He’s going to get turned out😂
Realest conversation he had with his mom. A balance between support and letting him know he messed up. Usually it’s just blind support.
Ivan: “Jail is not for me.”
Jail: “I’m 100% for you Ivan.”
Especially being stupid enough to confess and not ask for a lawyer.
@@deucedeuce333 he recorded his escape from the police on Facebook
No he’s definitely innocent! This is clearly a set up, and could happen to anyone! I always cash my $4000 paychecks from my totally legit job and hide the money under my kitchen sink. Also, my neighbors keep breaking into my house and stashing a pound of weed in my room for some reason.
@@davemccage7918 wow brother, i feel for you. i hate when people stash drugs in my house as well 😂

He posted the chase? Clout isn't just a drug, it's become a one way ticket to jail.

Even before social media a lot of crime has been commited merely to gain street cred.
A culture where being a criminal is a good thing... Unfathomable that it doesn't work out 😂

it was the “oh you not gonna have no bond.” for me 😂
“If I get out, I’m running” 🤣🤣🤣 you not getting out for sure now
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
He tried running before he even got in.
Its interesting to witness real stupidity.. like he really manufactures dumb thoughts then brings them to life.
Him swearing on his daughters life, when he knows he's lying, tells you how much he cares about that (poor) kid.
Well him admitting it means locked up for like a decade. Haven't finished video so idk. But I'd guess at least 10. So if he's saying it to stay out of prison, being in her life is caring. But yea he shouldn't swear on her life
It's become more of a phrase than a reality. Swearing on someone you love doesn't hold meaning anymore. It's just to try and fool someone who isn't going to be fooled. Doesn't really mean they don't care about their loved one. It's just a really stupid term that became a criminals favorite thing to say. 😀
Him doing drive-bys tells me he doesn’t care about his kid.
Blamed everyone else for his doings. First his girl had weed in the house the everything he did was for his daughter?? Then there was a gun in the car when we got pulled over. Not his gun. LOL
Is this shocking to anyone? It wouldn't surprise me if he didn't even have a daughter but a son, or many kids. Whatever. No one gaf, just reproduce uncontrolled until you go to jail is the goal. So when you swear on your ba$tard children, it carries more weight if you got 5 than if you got 1. They are like pokemon to these people.
I have to admit, just getting up and walking out is a bold strategy.
Don't walk outside without a Lawyer
"That's a bold strategy, Cotton. Let's see how it pays off for him."
The word is stupid.
"I swear on my daughter, on my soul..." - ugh. You already know when someone says this that they're lying.
You should see the 23 year old black guy who swore on his 8 kids. he was found guilty of a double homicide. lmao
My guy has his girlfriend in the other room while professing his love to his ex on the phone 😂 he really spreading his chips to make sure someone is gonna be there for him, he dont care about nobody but himself
Needs someone to send him money in prison!
@Catn255 Cpt. Obvious over here.
His mom is like a reality anchor for him, flat out telling him he wasn't doing this shit for his daughter.
Wtf!!!!! His mother is a major reason this kid/punk is going to jail for eight years.
Huge parent failure.
how
Outside of your racism, what do you know. You don't know how she raised him, or what he did as a kid. You don't even know shit about human development.
No. Cause she kept she real with him his whole life. I guarantee, she warned him the risks of doing this shit
We dealt with the same thing with our boy. He was selling weed and ended up robbing 7 11. He got 3 years. He went into prison at 18 as a 120lb white kid. 90% natives in jail here. Well, he is technically half indian but was white with light blonde hair. He joined a gang for survival and got an extra year for an assault. He came out almost 200lbs tatooed head to toe. He was so messed up when he got out he died less than a year ago of a drug overdose. We are raising his daughter. He was 23 when he died. I hope this boy gets his priorities straight for the sake of his daughter.
Edit: For the comment and people that feel we failed as parents, I feel the same way. We gave our boy as much love and attention as we possibly could. I recognized he needed more attention and temporarily quit my job to care for the boys and my wife worked instead making 25% of what I made. I went on every class trip with him. I gave him rules and discipline. We gave him support on everything except breaking the law and having sex at 15. I taught him how to use wood shop tools. I taught him how to fix cars. I taught him how to garden and landscape. I taught him about the bible. When he was 15 he ran away from home to be with a girl. The police said they wouldn't bring him home. He moved in with her who was 14 and she got pregnant and as soon as the baby was born then her dad kicked them out. He is a millionaire( drug dealer)and the one who accommodated them sleeping in the same bed. We let them move here for a few years for the sake of the baby that we took care of. We tried teaching them to be parents but they didn't want to learn. She quit school and at 16 she worked for her dad. She made more money then us. The kids went for $100+ lunches everyday. They gave nothing for rent. I never did any of the things my son did. The drugs, dozens of girls, tattoos, jail, armed robbery and my other children don't even swear. They work and never broke the law.
The way I see it, God is the perfect father and 1/3 of the Angels left to follow their brother Satan.
I do hope to see him again on earth. Psalms 37;10,11,29 Revelation 21;3,4
Everyone else, thanks for the kind words.
I’m sorry for your family’s loss. You’re angels for stepping up for his kid
The daughter needs to go to a safe family member to live.
I'm sorry for your loss. Can't even comprehend the pain. Hopefully life has gotton more peaceful for you.

Damn, man. I'm sorry.
She's a real mother, straight up. You can tell she raised him right, but like everybody you make your own choices and decisions no matter how your raised. You are your own person.
She did not raise him right. If that was my kid Id disown that PoS.
I love that mom is holding him accountable and making him realize he mad a bad choice and now he had to deal with it
What conversation were you listening to?! She enabled the shit out of him.
His mom is more gangster than he is.
And if jail is not for you… why are you out there selling drugs, carrying a gun and shooting up someone’s house? Actually… jail is for you.
The lack of accountability on the phone with his “father” is so very telling. Everyone is blaming his mother but the way he speaks with his dad speaks volumes
His Momma kept it 100.
Both parents knew this call was coming someday. Neither were surprised about the behavior of their child.

This is great comment and I didn’t even realize. Wow. 💯
Just made me think about my own parenting of my boy. I can see how it gets to that point. My boy is 5 now and I’m everything this father in the video is NOT.

This is why we have momma's boys is their 20's. Telling a kids that he should "do right", but not applying pressure and not using "tough love" against the child ensures that he will learn the hard way.

Wild to hear that his mom's response was just "nah you're not getting bond lol". Good on her for being real with him though.

That guy has been cooperating with the police for awhile now. You can tell how comfortable he is and how cops leave the door unlocked and let him buy stuff from the vending machine rather than give it to him for free.
Finally found the comment I was looking for. The cop basically tells him that the word on the street was that he was a CI and he smoothed it over. Plus said he’d been hearing about all the trouble he was causing for weeks. Someone else would have picked him up, but they waited to deal with it when he was back from training because it was his asset.
Yo, props to the mom, for telling him straight up that he was in the wrong and made his own decisions, while still being there for him.
She gets my vote for mom of the year. She and his dad obviously did a great job raising him, props to both parents 👍

@@JKal19 I was just joking but I agree with you. Despite doing a terrible job raising her son at least she's not trying to coddle him. I would actually put more of the blame on the dad. Idk if these young fools truly understand how serious trying to survive in a prison truly is. He's on the phone talking about running on bail and even his mother and gf knew that was stupid of him to say on a jail phone and he's supposed to be the street guy. He thinks it's a game now, but he's going to learn very fast that it's as real as it gets in there and his little gf is going to stop picking up the phone in about a week after getting bored with his conversations about sitting in jail not doing shit with his life.

I dont think ive ever seen an interrogation room with an active PC and phone in it. Feel like thats some sort of security risk. Also, the camera quality and audio is one of the best. If only the cop didnt mumble his speech. That police dept must be one of the ones that get 75% of the cities budget. 😭
Lol. It's not a security risk. What it is is possible further evidence, maybe even evidence of more crimes/implicates more people depending on who the person calls and what they say. Every number is recorded and as you can see, so is what goes on in the room. There's likely someone watching. I'm not sure how letting the guy think he has privacy and freedom to make phone calls is a security risk- you think he's going to call his boys and have them try to come guns blazing to get him from the police station? The most that might happen is that he calls someone and tells them to move or dispose of some evidence or guns or drugs or something- and the cops are hoping he does just that anyway.
That’s why I love my mom right there ! Moms are real Gz

She further more says, “you’ve tried doing things the wrong way, now it’s time to do things the right way.” She also says, “ You’re going to do your time like a man and come out and do better.” What you’re mistaken as given up is that she’s probably being telling him to get his shit together for a while and knew it was only a matter of time before things caught up with him.
