He stayed on topic, didn’t try to deflect their questions. He kept the story in first person, “I did this. I thought this.” Those are characteristics of someone who is telling the truth. I watch tons of these vids and gun crime vids. I've never seen any criminal be afraid to murder or rob until the victim fights back and specifically when the victim is armed. It does not matter if the victim is 1 vs 1, 1 vs 3 or 1 vs 5.

@AlaFrigginBama, everyone should indeed understand their rights to refuse to answer any questions without an attorney present! "...but lacking common sense..." He loses some "sympathy points" w/ me already. The fact is, having "hookups" & casual "hangouts" with people you don't know is putting your life in danger in more ways than one. The female making her claims and then saying "We have tasers & pepper spray & I told her take a hammer...coz we do that with people we hang out with that we don't know..." WTH?! Who takes freaking hammers, tasers & pepper spray "to hang out with 'friends' ", generally no one except those intending to do harm. How anyone could believe it's a "good idea to invite into your car/life/home" people you "just chatted with on Tinder/Snapchat etc." is insane.
He said he felt "ashamed", hopefully he learns to make better life choices. I'm not down with the Officer's "You're 18 so..." It's not UNEXPECTED that you'll "make mistakes" when you're younger, less experienced with life etc., but it's not an excuse to be reckless & foolish... The fact is there are 40, 50+ yr olds who do things just as stupid as he because it's not solely based upon age, it's a matter of the way you think...
What really struck me was her absurd tale about "He didn't like my anti-Trump posts" and it was for that reason that this "mastermind" developed an elaborate scheme to "entrap 2 people whom he didn't know was armed with at the least, tasers, pepper spray and a hammer" and for all he knew an "alleged gun" if his claims were accurate that either female said "GET THE GUN!! GET THE GUN!! GET THE GUN!!", despite no other gun being found. What an absolute mess all from "let's hang out yo".🙄Again, hopefully he makes better life choices, it seems the female's opportunity is lost on that one as who knows if she'll ever see the outside of a prison again.

I haven't seen it all yet, but in many (maybe most) states, you can be charged with felony-murder, which means that a killing occurred while you were committing a felony other than murder (rape, robbery, child abuse, burglary, etc.), even if the prosecutor can't show you had the necessary (guilty mindset) needed for an independent murder conviction. For example, you intend to commit robbery, but someone gets killed, maybe because your accomplice in the robbery brought a gun along, even if you didn't know about it. In most states that have the felony-murder rule, you can be charged with felony-murder even if the killing was done by your accomplice in the underlying felony, possibly even after you have been arrested and are sitting in the back of the patrol car. (Some states rule that if the killing is committed by your accomplice after you personally have been apprehended, you cannot be charged with felony-murder for that killing.)
In many states that have the felony-murder rule, there is a limitation that prevents you from being charged with felony-murder if the death is the death of your accomplice at the hands of an adversary (like the police shoot your accomplice, or the victim shoots your accomplice), for the reason that you and the adversary don't share a criminal purpose the way that you and your accomplice do. But some states WILL allow felony-murder charges for the death of an accomplice at the hands of an adversary, which it sounds from your comment like that's what happened here.
Makes sense to me in circumstances like this.

During his entire interview, i thought he was absolutely telling the truth. Im glad he was and he didn’t get charged. Glad he lives in a Great state with stand your ground laws.

So, if you commit a crime and your partner dies while attempting to commit said crime, you can be prosecuted for murder... Another great incentive not to commit crimes.

How many people that are dumb enough to commit a robbery know that? It’s a dumb law

@@kimlimb5275 Committing any crime that can result in the death of an accomplice or yourself has that implied risk. If you don't care about your life or your "friends" than you get what you deserve. Ignorance of the law isn't an excuse.

@@kimlimb5275 its not meant to dissuade dumb criminals its meant to punish them, its meant dissuade people with a bit more sense, like a bunch of marines talking nonsense out the back yard that they could knock over a bank. The intelligent ones who could plan it and pull it off will look at the risk/reward and decide not to unless they are really bad up. They will quickly realize how it could turn into life behind bars by the others messing up.

If anyone is killed, not just your accomplices. If anyone is killed while you are committing a crime, you will be charged with murder.

Sadly, the truth isn't a real factor when police interrogate people.
They are allowed to lie, pretty much whatever they can to get a confession from a person.

THIS is how its done folks. All the other channels talk too damn much. Pausing every 30 seconds to add pointless narration. Keep making videos like this brother. easy to watch

Pointless narration is spot-on. We didn't need, and here, WE DIDN'T GET, the host interrupting and interpreting what we just saw with our own eyes. This is a good channel, good content. Glad that kid was able to clearly tell his story, and the facts backed him up. Luckily one of them lived to incriminate herself and her dead pal.
