LOLOL…Tim isn’t just Bass……he’s got a 5+ Octave Range…crazy talented…from Bass to Tenor…he’s a Beast 💗🙃💗🔥‼️🎵🎶🎵
Yes! They need to do Stay by him it was insane to hear his range in that song.
This is such a fun song. Home free does a great job of spoofing Meghan Trainor's song. I love it when the guys ham it up, but their vocals never suffer. This song always puts a smile on my face. Love Austin's yodeling. There is a behind the scenes video which is very funny. You can tell that the guys love what they do.
I had to go watch Megan’s video and they really did a great spoof on the video. Great reaction!
Home Free doesn't do covers! They do upgrades!!! Love your reactions! Always fun when you bring in a guest! Well done young man! Love your channel 🤠🤠🤠
WELL SAID!!
Meghan Trainor wrote and recorded the original. This pre 2016 as Chris is still there, and Austin still has the baby face. Rob Lundquist: has a bachelor’s degree in music from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Austin Brown: attended Oklahoma City University, majoring in Music Theater, and was on a full-tuition scholarship. The experience he had with the University further developed his overall skills as a musician. He did not only grew his vocal artistry, but he also found his niche as a songwriter. He traveled with his father's Gospel group. Was an entertainer on a cruise ship. Tim Foust: While at Lamar University (pre-dental) in nearby Beaumont, Tim also sang with the University's Cardinal Singers. Feeling the call of show business, Tim left Lamar and moved to Nashville. He sang with various professional acapella singing groups and even did a stint on the cruise ship circuit. Chance :At the University of Alabama, he signed up for a couple of semesters with the university’s choir. Left to his own devices, he was singing more in the baritone or low tenor range. When the choir needed bass singers, Chance happily obliged. Chance used to be the bass singer of Street Corner Symphony, an acapella group from Nashville, Tennessee. Adam Rupp : graduated from Gustavus in 2004 with a music performance degree in trumpet. His earliest beatboxing memory was from fifth grade. “I was in the hall at school, after picking a fight and then laying down a beat. At the time, I didn’t know beatboxing was an actual thing,” Rupp recalled.
It was only during his freshman year in college, when they started Home Free, that he discovered beatboxing and other beatboxers. Rupp was intrigued by how beatboxers were able to imitate drums and other sound effects. It was then that he got hooked. He would spend hours repeating one sound over and over, experimenting until he gets it right. Months of his life have been spent honing his craft.
If you liked the 9-5 video you should see the live version with a little BEATBOXING BREAKDOWN!!!
It is phenomenal!!!
Home Free iare the best! They can make you dance, cry or fall out of your seat laughing. Thank you for the Home Free reactions
“ Butts “ is similar in every way!!! Fire🔥

In case y’all didn’t know, what they did in their video recreated Meghan’s original video, that’s what makes it so hysterical.
Just watched Joe react to 9 to 5 yesterday! Always enjoy when a reactor first discovers the many talents of Home Free -- my favorite vocal band, so creative at so many levels.
This is such a fun video! As always the singing, harmonies & beatboxing are perfect. Home Free has a series "From the Vault" - the behind the scenes filming of their videos. This is one of the episodes & it's funny as hell. You both need to watch the live (fancam) video "9-5 Beatboxing Breakdown" - it's quite different from the studio video (you'll see why). Great reactions - love from Canada.
I wouldn’t think we’d have anything in common. And I was wrong. You guys are both fun.
This video is definitely an ‘in joke’ or parody for the original Meghan Trainor song and video.
Thanks. 🏠🍟
Two of my favorite guys!! Love when u guys do reactions together!! 🫶
I ❤️ Home Free, yet I did not understand this video until I went back to find Meghan Trainor's original--then realized everything the guys did completely spoofed it 🤣
Love the yodel in Austin's voice❣️
The HF guys have fabulous senses of humor which are clearly displayed here. They never take themselves too seriously. 😆 (And we ladies appreciate that they don't objectify females in their videos--even if it's the topic of the song! Thank you, Home Free!!)
Yes! I loved the Meghan Trainor spoof aspect!
Home Free is such a great group. Their beatboxer sounds like he swallowed a drum kit. They work together to decide who would be best to sing lead on a certain song.
This was so much fun! You know they had a blast doing this. Love your reactons!
This is a Megan Trainer song. You really have to check out Misty Mountains with Peter Hollens and Tim Foust and Tim really goes all out Bass, it’s insane !
Home Free is on tour, I will be there in November! I Love Butts Remix! You definitely should watch Two Country Singers Try To Sing Opera, Nessun Dorma, it’s Rob and Austin, all I can say is…prepare yourself ❤.
Black Pegasus already reacted to Nessun Dorma.
@@itzel1735 thank you ❤️
@@janetlawson4482 Welcome. Post again if you can’t find.
I’ve recently found these fellas!! Talent plus!!! Such fun!!
Great reaction to a great group 🦉❤️🐊👍🙏
Saw them live this past February. So much fun. If you ever have the chance to see live, take that opportunity. You won’t be sorry.
Their From the Vault about shooting this video is fun.
Almost everyone misses Tim pointing to himself and saying "All about me" at the start. The song being all about Tim, their bass.
The "From the Vault " behind the scenes video of this is so funny!
Meghan Trainer wrote and sang this! This was a lot of fun! I love you guys together! I know Joe E will love The Butts Remix!😁😁✌🏻🫶🏻
You wife might really like “Playing with Fire”.
Pour her some wine, turn down the lights and put on the music.
It’s recent. It’s an R&B inflected original song. Smooth.
I'm so glad you reacted to this one! I'm late to the party for this one but man, you gotta watch the bloopers from this vid 😂 ... Home Free are all around entertainers!
Yep it's all about Tim. Lol ❤😊
There is a behind the scenes video for this too. Homefree hides them behind a "from the vault" title, but almost all their videos have a behind the scenes clip from their video shoots. Would be fun to watch them with Joe Sparks!
This won't mean much if you haven't seen the original Meghan Traynor video, which is referred to scene for scene. The body-positive lyrics were hers too. This version was arranged by Austin Brown, the lead here. Around this period he was their go-to lead, though later on the leads dried up, maybe because he was building a solo career and songwriting up a storm.
No two ways about it , they’re good.
they never take themselves too seriously....they are jokesters
The way they fan girl Tim as the Bass is hysterical 😂
Should watch the thinking out loud/ let’s get on mash up they did!
I love that one. Video is a little rough but it’s old and still very entertaining. And props for it being a one shot.
You're right; there is no lead singer. HF's vocals serve the song, not egos. For Christmas, I suggest Do You Hear What I Hear. Nothing else like it.
They are great in concert. Watching for the next time they come through my area and see them again.
They do deadly serious too.
“In the Blood” is an introspective John Mayer song.
“Brothers in Arms” is a ghostly version of the Dire Straits song about war.
This is a scene for scene cover of Meghan Trainor's video. You can never look away from a Home Free video for an instant because there is so much going on! Austin Brown has a degree in Musical Theatre, and Rob Lundquist is opera trained. If you haven't reacted to Austin and Rob covering Nessun Dorma (None Shall Sleep), you really must! Rob gave the CD to his dad who cried. Rob wouldn't do it unless Austin sang as well. Austin wanted to show off "Opera Rob".
I buy all their cds, loved their concerts
That was 🔥🔥🔥
Ah, man... this was just perfect! Now you have to do Postmodern Jukebox's take - "All About That Bass - Postmodern Jukebox European Tour Version". For a really sick arrangement. And some true female vibe.
And a stimulating visual experience LOL
Y'all need to watch the butts medley
Last month ua-cam.com/video/0sX8wNg89WE/v-deo.html
It’s a silly one but the guys are so good with this Meghan Trainor song. I love them being goofy. Their music never suffers. Loved your reaction guys!🤩😍
Home Free's vide for this song mirrors Meghan Trainor's to some extent in movements and layouts of the guys. I get a kick out of watching the 3 videos back to back: Meghan's, this one, and All About That Bass (Behind the Scenes Blooper Reel). But then again I like any video where you can hear of see Kristin Denehy, their long time choreographer putting them through their paces. From the Vault Episode 10 for Blue Ain't Your Color is a great example of that and the video itself is a joy to watch.
Someone already mentioned it below but you guys really need to react to Home Free’s Butt Medley! Thanks for a fun reaction!
Did about a month ago. ua-cam.com/video/0sX8wNg89WE/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
yes, a lot of their videos have a "show tune" feel due to Austin's background in musical theatre
Another fun version of All About That Bass was put together and performed by Postmodern Jukebox. Check it out!
Do go see them live if you get the chance - they are fantastic entertainers! Also, speaking of positivity, try one of their lockdown videos, _Everybody_ _Walkin'_ _This_ _Land._ If you do, please listen to Tim's message at the end as well.
This was great 👍🎉
They're so extra. Love our boys. I really enjoy your reactions, and I like when you bring people into listen to them. You're spreading the word, so thanks! I'm going to check out Joe's channel next. 9 to 5 actually has a live version with a beatbox breakdown that is so much better than the studio recording, in my opinion. Just sayin'
This is even funnier if you have seen the Meghan Trainor original video. It was a total tribute to it, only using Tim as the "bass" instead of Meghan. I love Austin's yodel, it is so different from his usual vocals. and they DID do this in their live shows with the preface that HF loves 'curves'.
It is an EARLY HF video from 2014 - about the tenth that they released. The teaser that was running at the end is Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget, which was only their 6th released one, although it was filmed after they filmed Ring of Fire w/ Avi Kaplan. It is another 'knee slapper'.
Austin didn't really yodel here.... full on yodel he did in "Thank God I'm a country boy". 😉
@@momD612 true. But so far no one has come up with a really good name for that voice. And no matter what you call it, I love it.
Great 👍 reaction.
@BlackPegasusRaps
This video is a spoof of the original video by Meghan Trainor, you guys should react to that, even compare both videos in a reaction.
Absolutely hilarious.
Home Free and Pentatonix both won The Sing Off.
They are my 2 favourite a cappella groups.
Home Free is definitely my favourite.
My favourite genre's of music are country, pop, rock.
My favourite singer of all time is Shania Twain & she featured on Endless Love with Lionel Richie which is absolutely beautiful (definitely worth reacting to if you haven't already seen it)
ABBA is my favourite group.
Lauren Daigle is also one of my favourites, You Say, Rescue and many other songs of hers are beautiful are really stir the spirit.
Doesn't seem like anyone ever notices, but during the intro before the beat fully comes in, when they come together to sing "all about the bass", Tim is singing "me". I think that's funny.
Please react to Pentatonix...... Start with Hallelujah(check out the number of views), and go on from there! The Prayer, Daft Punk, Kissed By A Rose, Love Again, Sing, Imagine, Amazing Grace, Mary Did You Know, Blinding Lights, Imagine, Dreams, Shallow, Radioactive, Bohemian Rhapsody, Havana, Can't Hold Us, Say Something, Love Again, Sound of Silence, Run To You, Somebody That I Used to Know, Can't Help Falling In Love, Perfect, Can't Sleep Love, Come Along, Can't You Feel the Love, Dreams and their hundreds of Christmas songs including O Holy Night, O Come All Ye Faithful, Carol of the Bells, Where Are You Christmas, Prayers for This World, That's Christmas To Me, White Winter Hymnal and lots more! This is an acappella group oozing with talent! They use some instruments but very few! Kevin, the beat boxer plays the cello in some songs. I know you will find yourself hooked to this amazing group! Believe it or not, they have so many more songs....lots of covers but they make the songs their own and they have some originals as well👍
They did this video exactly like the Meghan Trainor original video!
You have to see the original video to fully get what HF are doing. It's a stylish parody. Poor Rob about killed himself emulating the chubby black guy in the original who does the splits. Great reaction guys!
Tim sings a least 4 octaves if not more. His range is crazy..
Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get It On mashup 1 shot video.
Look at butt remix u love it home free is so funny
I love your channel
This is one of their older ones! My try cover of “listen to the music” newer cover
Not only is the song a spoof of Meghan Trainor's song, their video is a spoof on Meghan Trainor"s video as well.
want a bonus challenge try spotting the rooster that appears in several of their videos
All About That Bass…..”ME” Tim. (Watch the beginning. I didn’t catch it at first either!)
Tim (bass singer) has a 5 octave range.
They tried to duplicate the original video frame by frame.
I might be wrong, but I think it was The Statler Brothers...
You will love Home Free Butts Remix
❤😂
You guys should listen to the Doobie Brothers - listen to the music then watch the home free version - it’s amazing
Check out the Butts Remix
God damn. Dyxl9.
Please do Home Free/Kenny Rogers Children Go Where I send Thee.
I’m pretty sure they also did “I’ll make love to you” by B2M and it was awesome!
They are just so silly.
you should do the Original Megan Trainor all about that base wtih video
Megan trainer original artist I thing. Consider listening to brothers In Arms, Butts remix, do you hear what I hear ( in ice castle video
Check out Fat Bottom Girls by Queen
Skip to 3:28 to start the reaction.
All is them can take the lead
Question: Does the guy in the glasses have a UA-cam channel? I would love to see his reactions to Home Free.... especially End of the Road.
Joe E Sparks
@@itzel1735 As soon as I asked the question, his reaction to 9-5 popped up in my "suggested" videos. Lol
@@johnbarry1712 yay
No instruments! Just beatboxing and singing!
😂❤🏠🍟
Show tuney .. but still great vocals!
Compare their video with Megan Trainer's
Dyslexia
Since you are a videographer, it would have been cool for you to contrast and compare the original music video by Megan Trainor. (The videos correspond.)
BUTT REMIX
A few weeks back with the wives.
ua-cam.com/video/0sX8wNg89WE/v-deo.html
Home free is pretty goofy overall. In a good way.
You need to watch Megan Trainor's original. This would all be better understood and more appreciated.
