Ksenia, Helpful information. Alson Sharpie brand has brush pens, with lots of colors.
Thank you, Joyce! I’ll have to get me some, I love brush tips.
This is great! I used to sketch with thin liner pen (similar to sharpie) and add watercolor wash over, but recently I started enjoying simply charcoal or shellac ink in combination with dip pen and brush. However can’t figure out how to use shellac ink outdoors
Thank you, Aliona! I have several inks in bottles but open containers on location make me nervous. 😀😀😀
Hi, can Oil pastels be out in the heat or will they melt? Thankyou for this informative video.
Hi Sue! I looked up the manufacturer's data sheet for oil pastels and it said they will soften in direct sunlight when the temperature reaches 48C / 118 F. And to melt them my understanding you have to actually heat them on a fire. So keeping them in a box or in a bag should be enough protection even on hot days. So glad you enjoyed the video!
I googled.
Overall, while oil pastels may become softer in heat, they do not typically melt like crayons and can still be used to create beautiful works of art.
