A Trip to Kedarnath - An Exhilarating Experience

My trip to Kedarnath was very eventful, and the uphill trek of 14 miles (22 KMs) was very challenging, yet very fulfilling. The entire experience was exhilarating!
We stayed in a town called Sitapur, which is 2 KMs away from Sonprayag, and around 7 KMs away from Gaurikund.
Going with a personal vehicle or hired taxi is highly recommended, and carry ample food and drinks - they are available in the shops that you'll find on your way, but the prices are too high. Keep the purchase option as a last resort, if you can.
Helicopters are available from Gaurikund, and one can also hire a mule from the starting point, or mid way as well, on government approved rates.
