I met one Mongolian woman and what she said to me caught me off guard that my habits and behaviour is similar to Mongolian. While migrating we Garos might have settled in Tibet too but before that matters(from where). There is a saying in Garo tribes our forefathers Jappa and Jalimpa lead out the migration of Garos from which place it is not mentioned, while Jalimpa stayed back (where not mentioned) Jappa continue towards Japan. Conclusively I doubt we Garos are from Tibet. Can do DNA for confirmation.
There's a American person (who is doing research on international languages) they adopted a garo kid from Bangladesh told me that Red Indian native Americans has lots of Garo words.

There are three tribes in Meghalaya ie, garo khasi and jaintia whereas jaintia is a sub tribe and the first chief minister of Meghalaya was Captain Williamson sangma he was the one who make shillong as a capital of Meghalaya otherwise it would be tura since back then the people were not smart like now and some of the information are not true
