Supercharged 392 HEMI 1955 Desoto! Fuel system issues Twin Holley Carbys!

In this episode 2 on our Blown 392 Hemi 1955 Desoto once owned by Gas Monkey Garage we fix our holley carby issues and we rework the body adding more fake patina, airbrushing the signs in and sanding flat the whole body. Finally completing the look that was forced upon us by the original stickers pulling of the paint, we believe that we pulled of the look of a old drag car but it is not finished yet

@@copperheadkustoms definitely looking forward to more. My engine builder has built some blown early Hemis including one in a Henry J Gasser. He also did a Desoto Hemi. My 63 Belvedere is getting a 440 with an old school GM 671

Glad your getting those carby issues sorted, wonder if you could do a tiny adjustment to the accelerator pumps if it would eliminate that little backfie issue.

HA-Ha! How'd you know I was still watching? I'd guess that car would be somewhere about 3600lbs and with that 392 it puts is at about 9lbs/ Cu. In. or so. That would put is in B class with a supercharger. The designation changed thought the years. From 1960-'65 it would be B/GS. 1966-67 would be BB/G. 1968-'69 it would be BB/GS. I'll post the weight break chart on my channel's page. Not sure how to post it here. I really like how that car is looking. Class call out would be look good on the lower dogleg of the front fender, on the roof sail panel, or lower rear quarter. Stick a set of 15" original design Torque Thrusts, Cragar SS, or slot mags on that sucker and it'd be pretty spot on.

Thanks mate I knew you would know all the details. I've done some more stuff to it now as I still wasn't happy with it. Saturday I went out to clean the chrome and it was the first time I looked at it smiled and thought that is a bada55 looking car but you'll have to watch the next 2 vids to see the end result
