For trying to break the trackrecord, just this event, the RPM were pushed up to 19.000 !!! (source Klaas Zwart personally)
Gotta give him props. He gave that Jag a pretty proper thrashing.
That is Klaas Zwart driver and owner of the Jaguar R5, its still got the original Cosworth V10 but detuned to about 650bhp @16000rpm.
He mostly wins when the car is running well in the BOSS Gp, nobody can keep up with it.
He properly spanked that thing. I saw 5 GP races in that era. They literally hurt your ears. Saw Schumacher not touch his brakes until the 50ft brake marker down from 170 in the rain during practice at Indy. Changed my life...
50 meter not 50 feet
i absolutely love the v10 era of formula one. it produced some of the most exciting racing ever seen in the sport.
Really? it was one of the most boring eras in F1s history.
@@MiniOne82 you would probably be a V6 Ti lover, right? I'm amazed that how you're still alive after saying those intoxicating words😠😠
I think 2005 is V8 tbh
@@Stormcloakvictory V8's were adopted beginning with the 06 season.
V10 era was boring af
Wow that was an Assetto Corsa move on the red car's part at 0:59. I'm surprised that Klass didn't spin out there.
2004 f1 cars had traction control system. its prohibited now
nothing worse backmarkers not knowing blues! Perhaps he thought it was the red one behind him tbf so he moved off racing line. then the green thing appeared on his right side. nearly very expensive bill
That was a typical backmarker move from someone without any but little track experience.
I remember when Eddie Irvine was driving the Jaguar at Monaco and a couple of English blokes had made themselves green team shirts with "Irvine - Shaguar" on them :-)
I want this sound back so badly. this is the true F1 sound.
Orgasmic sounding video thank you for the upload
love BOSS GP, i hope they'll come back to Monza in the future, wow that was close, i'm glad he didn't crash it into the barriers :')
Not the most competitive F1 car on the grid but damn it looked and sounded so good in the vid. I miss V10s. He was really spanking that car round Zolda...
That guy was on it ever corner you could see the change of direction and the acceleration off the corners was fantastic. Reminds me of Moto Gp
Traction control and anti-stall working well.
This would have been amazing to experience, I'd give my left nut to hear a late F1 V10 at full rpms again
I grew up in St Kilda as a kid just down the road fom Albert Park track and man that was my favourite day of the year other than Christmas. The sound from my backyard was a symphony.
Gonna see this car tomorrow in assen at tabac classic gp. Saw this car there last year he had a problem with his car so he started a lap down he unlapped himself and pushed him to p3. It wasn't the most competitive field but he was flying for sure
Damn I miss that V10 sound !!!
3:30 i could almost feel it through the footage
and the car rumbling at 4:04 still sounds crazy
He really drove it like he stole it, and what a pleasure to hear some V10 action ;)
That was such a good-looking car back then. Too bad it didn't translate to a lot of success
Boa noite meu Amigo !!!!
V10 é absolutamente fantástico.
Isso é Fórmula 1 de verdade.
Só saudades......
Muito obrigado pelo vídeo e parabéns pelo canal.
Abraço do Brasil......
4:06 Looks like the marshal had a little crash on his own
Great footage. Goosebumps!
Congrats, TOP-VIDEO!!!
Time and space can be heard gurgling during that spin as the universe itself struggles to comprehend how bad ass that noise is.
wao this is the first video that i can actually feel the real sound output of the V10 cars like if i am there just there, look at those guys in the circuit putting their hands on their head for the sound lol
I still remember my first F1 V10 sound in SPA, till that moment I had no idea that even high pitch sounds and not only bass could be felt in your chest and lungs :) Amazing sounds !
that sound is mental! Great Video
Badass intro man.And the v10 sounds mega.
Wasn’t frightened of it, was driving it proper.👍
Amazing video, thank you!
Sweet sounds and great commitment. If you're not crashing, you're not trying hard enough. 😁
that sound ! v10!!!
V10 Monster
0:34 I don't mind the Turbo V6s, but holy crap I miss this sound!
The only true turbo V6 is the one in the XJ220. The rest are China junk.
@@harrisn3693 If I remember correctly, the XJ220 was supposed to be powered by a V12, am I right ?
looks like he had a flat front tire before the crash 03:57
Yes. No question.
A crash implies the car hit something. This is a car going off track
Pickle Rick Of course it was a pirelli
Well saved !!
yes he did
For anyone wondering crash is @ 3:56 , awesome video and a lovely sound.
Ascari circuit owner Klass Zwart driving.
J'y étais. Pilote hyper impressionnant pas loin du record du circuit!!
I think the day you recorded on description is wrong (guess it's 7-15) Still what a awesome video!!!
artcasillas you were right. I was in a rush to upload this video.
that could really be a nasty crash 3:56
3:57 Whoaaaaa noooo
Jraybay puncture
Awesome !
Awesome and exciting!!
I was there on sunday 16/7. Amazing sound. That's how a F1 car should sound. But how come that there were only about 7 cars racing?? Boss GP is normally more than that. Anyone?
He was giving that car everything and more. Top vid. Not much of a crash tho more than a spin.
2:25
it's what we live for
These cars were so beautiful
That was the real "Formula One"!!! Today it is crap!
Yes it is
i wouldn’t say the modern f1 is crap its just the stupid engine rules, halo controversy, the fia and the v6 hybrid
but id say the racing is very good and worth watching
Ahh the real F1. Where cars couldn't overtake at all and Schumache was dominating everything. Good times.
Crap and sounding like a tractors
(Today's F1)
wrong, it was extremely boring cause ferrari was killing the sport.
That wasn't a crash (thank god!) it was just a spin after a puncture
0:57 Jesus Christ! That scared me.
Qualifying rithm....!!!
Atleast hes not holding back.awesome display
amava ver este carro da jaguar lindo de mais tinha um piloto Brasileiro
wowww ! bad ass video
Proving Zolders more then capable of hosting an F1 race in the future.
Monaco gear ratios?
Dammit Pirelli!!!
What a machine
Where do they get the engines from
Jaguar , la plus belle F1 jamais faite .
❤
Not sure what parts he has available but that's an odd wing setup for Zolder. Probably a Spa or Montreal wing set. No wonder it looked a little hairy.
Was that point where he spun the place where Gilles Villenuve had his fatal qualifying crash in 1982 ? It looks like it.
Yes, that's the Villeneuve chicane.
Does that car have traction control or am I not hearing some type misfire correctly out of the tight corners?
tc sound yup
2:45 glowing disk. How’s powerful.
1:07 echoes from the past
jaguar.straight jaguar.
Amazing video!!! Thanks for sharing, is amateur driver?? Exprofessional driver??? Fans driver of F1?
I would say he is a semi-pro or a very good gentleman racer. He has been racing in these older F1's for many years.
He also owns the Ascai race resort in Spain.
@@Belgian-Motorsport thanks, i thought the same, because drive a F1 V10 is not easy and he drive amazing right.
Who is driving that my god!
0:58 verstapen effect
Why does he change gears so often? Other cars do hold on gears longer?
Short gear ratio's. Zolder's straights aren't very long.
やっぱ V10 の F1 は最高。
実際に聞くと信じられないくらいうるさくて、とてもこの世のものとは思えなかった。
Full RPM 💀!!
I mean, it teleports from corners to corners...
F1 AND V10 OR F1 IS DEAD FOREVER
The guy its good 😶
Stewart→Jaguar→Red Bull
0:53
That's a new colour in your pants...
is this actually zolder looks a lot like monza lol
it totally doesnt look like monza
Zolder as it is
Die f1 auto heeft die later dat jaar total loss gereden in Assen op het tt circuit
what the fuck was that red car doing at 0:59?
マジ乗りしてんじゃん(;゜0゜) 貴重なマシン大事にしてよー
14 EV loving millennials downvoted this
Slick tires?
vanden7reish Yes, pirelli slicks.
better than tires of f1 to this car
2:25
crash at 3:55
Good job, nearly stuffed probably a $500,000 plus F1 car twice. Driver was being too aggressive.
Klaas is taking way to much risk with a car like that. Someone should take it away from him
He is one of the few still driving these old F1's how they are meant to be driven.
@@Belgian-Motorsport thats your opinion i suppose. But it happens alot with him crashing this rocket.
Badass 1:00 ahaa
I wondered why those wheels were covered in shit.
brake pads dust from hard braking :D
sub
Real F1 V10 engine not like now ugly V6 sound on F1, now F1 is boring
The owner of this car is far too agressive with the damn thing. Such a shame.
That`s the way they`re meant to be driven. You think the drivers back then were cautious with it? This guy clearly can afford the car and maintenance so why not try and push that thing to it`s limits? I know i would...
