Bravo Gentlemen, bravo! My favorite version of this classic song. Such emotion in the vocals and the harp. Tears in my eyes. Thank you.

Absolutely beautiful cover of A Rainy Night in Soho, saw Padraig support Sharon Shannon in January in Ramor Theatre Cavan, have followed him since, Pa Reidy's voice is magical. Hairs standing up on my arms!
Just saw your comment Tia, was having a rough day and you brightened it a bit. So thanks a million! We'll get around to gigging again eventually so hopefully see you there. Cheers :)
Release this lads.. it will put you on the map for sure!!
This is the most amazing version of the Pogues classic...I just found it on YT and I'm listening it for the third time...and I can't stop...the emotion that this performance brings is chilling... Great job guys!!!
had to come back for another listen fucking deadly this lads
The harmonica is haunting. The arrangement is perfect and it's a wonderful vocal delivery of the most poignant lyrics. This is my favourite song of all time and I'll confess, ya's had me in tears lads. Fair play to ya's. Great stuff.
Thanks a million Ferghal. Some more coming in the nezt couple of weeks. Cheers!
Sorry did not like his voice found it irritating.and to slow boring. Tbh.
Speechless is all I can say amazing
That made me so emotional thinking about the. MAN I would have loved to have bought a pint.
Thanks for the comment Thomas. I wish I could have bought him one too but maybe I'll meet him at the big party in the sky one day and buy him one there!

Thanks very much Ben, much appreciated!
still the best
Absolutely brilliant lads. I hope this gets more airplay after Shane's passing. This version has such a unique charm - tempo, voice, harmonica, guitars, humming - perfect.
Impressive, outstanding. Thank you.
Jaysus ! This is definitely the best version I've ever heard ! been playing it myself for years, now I think I'll relearn it , but a hard act to follow ! well done lads G 🎼
Thank you Gerry, we really appreciate that. Cheers, happy strumming! :)
fantastic! emotive... told the story beautifully! great voice..
Man Just like Andy Jinxy I went back to have another listen... Great Mouth organ playing as well alongside a well placed backing vocal ! I'm getting hints of Damien Rice, Glen Hansard, with a little of David Gray!.. I wish you guys all the best.. keep it minimal as you have done in this song: but don't be frightened to use wind and strings & keys just like Damien rice has done in some tracks. Good luck lads you definitely have a unique Celtic sound!
One word - BRILLIANT

It would be very difficult to compete with the Pogues on what in my opinion is their best song but you lads did Shane proud with your interpretation . Well done 🍀

Cuando una version supera a la original..sin desmojorarla pero si enriqueciendola...preciosa!!!

Thanks a million Vicky! :)

Sounds good enough to us Andy :)
I found your video two days ago, and I have watched it numerous times. Fantastic. The best version I've heard. A question I have as a guy learning the guitar: Is this the same chord progression as the original. What fret are you using a capo? The mic blocked my ability to see. Once again, great work
Much appreciated Tom! Just replied to your FB message, cheers!
Great stuff , is the harmonica in c?
Thank you! This video's from 8 years ago so I forgot it was even up here, but that's definitely an E harmonica. Long live MacGowan🤘
