Correction: Ihatag niya kang Mama
= She will give (to) Mom ang ...
We use i + verb to denote future "transference" of something that is focused.
Clarification: Palita si Mama...Buy Mom...
Ihatag ang sapatos. = Give (her) "the shoes." We use i + verb to denote a command to 2nd person to "transfer" something that is focused.
Verb + i/hi such as paliti / hatagi usually denotes an indirect passive commands ( Buy/Give "Mom" shoes), but some verbs, such as limpyo uses + i to denotes direct passive commands (Clean the "shoes").
Translate:
We gave them clean clothes.
My father bought new clothes for us.
How would you say:
Don't buy us dirty clothes.
They want us to buy new clothes for those children.
