Not just the antlers, that wire can seriously cut you if you got it wrapped around your leg and then yanked ny panicked deer.
God told the animals not. To touch them
Extremely dangerous act of kindness, they risked own life and saved the poor animal, this is the power of compassion.
I have never seen a rescued animal show gratitude.

For not hanging around to say thanks. For all they know they were being trapped only to be shot when they men got there. Animals don’t know what these guys are thinking, and giving that is very similar to an animal trap, how are they really supposed to know that those guys were just doing a good deed and trying to release them and that’s all.?? Animals don’t think on 5 dimensions like humans.

It’s unbelievable how many deer and elk get trapped in wire fencing of all kinds
Takes a lot of ignorance and stupidity too. You can't replace a popped eyeball and there was not a remote chance he was going to control the animal by grabbing the antlers. These guys are stupid plain and simple. Kind but stupid.
I watched a video of a lot of people facing this situation , they were acting very cowardly. On the contrary, you are very brave and determined. My heartfelt congratulations to both of you .

Well done - bravo!! The courage these men have is truly amazing. When they started getting thrown around by the bucks they could have called it quits & said oh well we tried. But they just shook it off & went right back at it. I was worried that a deer was going to end up with a broken leg or 1 of the men gored by an antler. The guys looked tired at the end of the video. I hope they had a cold beer in the fridge - It's Miller Time!!
I am surprised the men risked their own life and health to save these two deer. Could have just as easily shot them instead of trying to help. Male deer are dangerous.

@Mr. Shlock I'm with you. Everybody's going on about their bravery...I wonder how enthusiastic people would be if the video ended with one of them getting impaled through the skull. Not that I'm unsympathetic to the plight of the animals...but the best option is a tranq gun, and if you can't get that within a reasonable time, then a rifle or pistol. If you don't have that, maybe you wait until they exhaust themselves completely, and then make a careful approach. Or if that doesn't work maybe you cut the wire a few feet back from the animals and hope they're able to eventually work their way loose when not bound to the spot by the posts. They're very lucky it ended well.
