Been planning on putting him into my Catachans with IHS for a little while now, wasn’t sure if it was the right idea but I’m glad I was on to something and am understanding the game better
Awesome video! I've been thinking about adding some inquisition models to my guard and Sororitas armies. Have you looked into Kyria Draxus? I think she could be a hidden gem! She contributes 10 damage two shots by herself! Six of which have indirect fire & Sustained hits 2!! For utility, she can also make her unit Lone Operative Lite*, and gives them the ability to advance and do actions with her assault gun. Plus, if you happen to be fighting xenos, the unit gets +1 to hit
Oh man, I have been wanting to get a sisters unit to supplement my guard force. I really dig the idea of a small force deployed midway through the game to bail out the lads and lead a charge.
Go take a look at inquisitor Greyfax for the anti-greater daemon potential too! The anti-psyker 4+ means under ideal circumstances (stationary for lethals, sentinel for reroll 1s, in rapid fire range), and joined with Creed for take aim + frfsrf, you can turn a 20 man blob of cadians into doing an average of 5 damage/round of shooting with JUST their lasguns against keepers of secrets and whatnot once past the greater daemon invuls and FNPs. It's certainly not a good choice for general competitive games, but in a more casual setting where you know you are going up against an army chock full of psykers it's great!
A-well-a everybody's heard about the bird B-b-b-bird, b-birdd's the word A-well, a bird, bird, bird, bird is the word A-well, a bird, bird, bird, well-a bird is the word
i use corteaz for cp gain if the player uses the likes of an autarch etc/secondaries, and to use calladus assassin for the increase of the opponents strat. in conjunction, i also use lord seantus for granted cp, so against certain armies you'll be getting 2 cp both in my turn and opponents turn. i also use another character for kurovs aquilla, again increase for opponents strat so max 2 times if supremely powerful and with the cp you can gain. it's crazy how you can swing games around with control of the cp
Alternative idea. Inquisitor in a infantry squad with mortars for refunding a CP on Fields of Fire. Was thinking about this idea for my crusade army that can't use Epic Heroes.
But in the data card said, Corteaz can only lead (1) Inquisitorial Henchmen, (2) Vigilant Squad, and (3) Voidmen-at-arms. Where can I find the ruling that state Corteaz can lead a Catachan unit?
I just checked. He can lead any battleline imperium unit. So definitely astra militarum and their brother and sister faction in the imperium. Its in the 40k app
In the app it says Coteaz can lead Imperium battleline infantry… so that would be Krieg, Cadians, Catachans or Infantry squads plus Scions if you’ve gone for the Scion warlord option turning scion squads to battleline
I really came to appreciate Straken and a hand full of Bullgryns in my lists to be able to mix it up in melee as well. Coteaz is interesting...but only 3 attacks without options to get more. That's a little meh...
The dream is nice…. The meme is better. Im assembling a motley cru of all these random combat guard bits and attaching them to 4x catachan squads. My opponent will taste cold steel!
60 Kriegers with their Marshall to dribble onto objectives and 2 blobs of Bulgryn to BOUNCE the foe. Firepower to taste. (Maybe two Dorns to pair with the two bulgryn bouncer screens.)
I've wanted to make an inquisitor warlord guard army. Though I also wanted sisters in it but unaligned forces aren't allowed in tournament play *cries* I guess I could always just make the woadian 111 + lady inquisitor "without" the sister detachment, but :(
Inquisitor _Torquemada_ Coteaz.... Yeah, he's appropriately named for quelling heretics and their deamons.
Kyria Draxus is worth a serious look as well
Add kyria to a 10 man scion squad with a psyker and a taurox prime. Just keep it hidden until you want to delete something
Best single model in the codex
@@javilo2797 best model Not in the codex. Lol
@@braindeaddiver are we gonna play scrabble with words

Once I took him with a squad of Cadians, and it did not disappointed me. Took out a platoon of 5 dwarf Terminators, it was very funny.
I'm thinking of heretical couterpart of Coteaz right now.

Reporting for duty , Sir o7
I like the idea of him
That's hilarious I just started using him my in my 20 pack Catachan squad with Ol' Iron Hand. They really pack a punch

What's your thoughts on the new model? Both the good and the bad.
Well, thanks for reminding me that this guy gets a Nemesis Daemonhammer but Grey Knights don't. Just 10th Edition things.

Would love more videos about allies !
Awesome mini either way

The breaking point of Of IG is creed, if she gets sniped IG is going to suffer harder than losing leontus
Sorry to tell you, but the limit of regaining 1 CP is per battle round, not per turn. So you can get only 1 CP over 2 turns.

rogue traders are quite nice, with infiltrate and redeploy, plus a bunch of random keywords
How can you take two henchmen groups with inquisitors? isn't the cap for agents 500 for a 2k game?
Greyfax next my man

spy network would be so much more viable if you were able to get more then 1 extra cp a turn 'from any source.'
He's also good with GK

Mass Bullgryn have to be the answer for combat guard no? Even just weaving two big blobs into a fairly well rounded hybrid list. I bet people bounce.
