Wife and I started glass blowing about 3-4 years ago and once we got the the "color" class we were amazed!! It's so fun to do, nerve racking but so rewarding when your pieces come out! I highly recommend doing this at least once in your life! So rewarding what you can make with glass!

I have known someone who got into this with a few hundred euros only and was able to make a variety of things, a friend of mine's mother who started making money with it and built her own workshop in her garage spent close to €5000 on it over the course of several years and had a very well equipped workplace where she made beautifull things. The nice thing about a craft like this is that you can make something for yourself without going to a school, self study or a tutor will do just fine and the quality of your products will do the talking.
I drove an hour to go to the glass museum and I made a really cool glass lamb! The people there are so nice and understanding if you mess up. It's an amazing experience even in you just go to look at the pieces of artwork they have! I 100% recommend going to the countries most popular glass museum or even if you have a local one!
