- I recently installed the Rough Country 2.5" lift kit along with a bunch of other new suspension components as part of my 2006 Jeep Rubicon overland rig build. This video will cover my thoughts as I off-road up Iron Mountain to check out the radio towers at the top.

Nice lift kit. Thanks for the suggestion on the budget build
It's not bad. I spend more time on the highways than off-road so I didn't really want anything that was too soft for my liking.
That looks great!
I didn't want much of a lift and was comfortable with my 31' tires. My 04 Rubicon still had the oem coils and shocks and they were shot.
I added some blisten 5100 and H&R coils springs. It lift the jeep about 1'. I really like the ride but like yours it is stiff
Yeah I don't mind the stiffer ride of the RC. I still have to street this vehicle daily and with all the weight on my roof from the tent, I really didn't want to feel like a bobble-head whenever I was on the brakes or accelerating. For the time being, my needs didn't require anything high end.
Air down your tires, makes the ride much more enjoyable and not as rough on your steering components
Yeah I just recently picked up a compressor that's meant for more constant use as I'm sure I would have burned out the cheap one I was carrying.
