Paige scores a lot of points for this team but I think what was missed the most was her energy. Her and nika celebrates every positive thing their teammates do and it is totally a game changer. The morale is completely different when you have Paige or nika sprinting from the other end to celebrate your and 1 or picking you up off the floor. I didn’t realize it until I watched Paige’s high school team after she left. They are talented but you can really see the difference in their energy when no ones celebrating the and 1s and the blocks.
you put it perfectly! that boost of confidence and energy she gives them not only by cheering them on but also simply by being on the court with them is palpable. they have less weight on their shoulders because they know they can just play and if things go wrong or things go bad worst case scenario give it to Paige and let her be Paige lol. gives them such freedom I haven't seen all year
None of that is true... when you structure a team around a single person this is what happens. It hard to recoup whe. Plays are designed around a single player.
Man, I will surely miss all the senior players (and senior cheerleaders + senior dancers) they were amazing, and served UConn well. I wish the best to them, the ceremony sure was bittersweat. Once again, I can not thank you enough MJL423 for posting this. I got to look at some highlights of the game.
Saw a random Paige video on Yt one day last year and it lead me to Uconn! It was also the first time watching a university basketball and surely I can say it influenced me a lot! Thank you seniors for you play, you will be missed. Will always be praying for you guys success! Lets go huskiess🔥🔥🏀
I have a tough time in the winter, but this team and their amazing games really help me to get through. I watch all the games. Sometimes my cable channels don't play the games and I come here to MJL423 to find them. It's not just a basketball game for me, it's a mental boost when I really need it just to see them play and have something to keep me busy in the cold months. THANK YOU for uploading. Really appreciate you!
3pt shooting was not great. I think the players were emotional for senior day. But, the energy was great and the passing was often amazing. This is a great team to watch.

UCONN lost to SC in the 4th game of the year. Fudd, Juhasz and Ducharme had 2 points among the 3. They Lost to Georgia Tech, first game after Paige went down. Bueckers and Fudd did not play, Juhasz and Ducharme 2 points a piece. They lost to Louisville by 5. Neither Azzi or Paige played, Ducharme 24, Juhasz 15 coming of age. They lost to Oregon by 13. Paige and Azzi both out, Juhasz 5 and Ducharme 22. They lost to Nova by 3. Paige, Ducharme and Nelson-Ododa out, and Juhasz had 2. They will get to revisit some of these teams again, and we'll see if those things happen again. I wouldn't bet on it.

@@svpst1 actually I'm fully confident that a healthy UCONN team would've beat Louisville by at least 10. We were up most of that game as it was but just couldn't hold on for the win.
@@alexroberson4454 We were pretty much even with SC going into the 4th quarter, but remember both Fudd and Ducharme were only playing their 3rd college game, and played very few minutes with only 2 points. They are both scorers and good defenders. The rest of the team kind of ran out of gas because of playing so many minutes against a team who substituted freely. I'm not afraid of anyone at this point, IF EVERYONE is healthy.
I hope UConn is ready outside of the big east after all these scrimmages but it's some good teams with good players I'm a South Carolina fan and I'm even concerned they might get upset these teams ain't scared no more or the name on your jersey those days are over

Those front-line girls Fudd etc. have worked and played very hard and where ready for the tournament. Instead, they choose to play a soft and still injured Paige who plays too soft on defense back in the starting line. That's it for me; will not watch women's basketball for the rest of the season. Hope SC wins it NOW!
