Radwimps' songs and Makoto Shinkai's films are just a perfect match. They complement each other and push each other forward to become even better. I had the honor to be in the front row at the Radwimps concert in Berlin and it was an evening I will never forget. My emotions were all over the place. On one hand I felt energetic and had a blast, on the other hand I just felt a huge sense of warmth in my heart. Yojiro is an incredible singer, probably the best I've ever heard. His voice is so soft and warm that it embraces the heart. But Yojiro also sings rock songs with rapparts in a way that inspires and is just fun. But also Yusuke, Akira and the two drummers were awesome. Yusuke is a god on the bass and Akira also has an energy on the guitar that is just fun. The two drummers Eno and Mori were incredible and I had such a blast watching them. Yusuke said at the beginning of the concert that they would like to play music from their heart for us and it showed. Their music was captivating and you could tell how much they were enjoying themselves and how much they love music and their fans. Something I've never seen from other bands to that extent. Radwimp's songs are unique and diverse. From quiet songs with piano that warm the heart to totally freaky, rocking songs that are just fun to listen to, it's all there. They were also super friendly and personable. Radwimps thank you for everything, for your music, for Yojiro's incredible lyrics and for this unforgettable evening. Thank you thank you thank you.
Radwimps music is the best thing that has happened in my life. I don't understand the meaning of the words, but when I look at the translation of the songs, I realize that I lose a lot by not being born in Japan. 😅 Their songs are very soulful, as if they convey everything that you feel. I am a fan of radwimps for the third year, and I guess that I will be for a very long time. Radwimps made me happier and they are still doing it.
