The tourism industry should be paying channels like yours! Since I've been watching your channel, I have this desire to come and see NZ and that never happened before. And Ardern quitting also makes NZ more desirable! lol
@@gregsullivan8956 And I have a very strong desire to see the southern USA. I give credit for that to youtubers who show old houses down there. I love the USA (but, of course, not the government!)

The Ole coulda, shoulda, woulda lol Amazing aye, making bales in January, up in Northland we've had 4 summers frantically feeding out bales, never can you have enough, finally like you we've got green grass
Been a great start to summer, im doing a few perky contracting jobs for neighbours and we are cutting in the morning and baling in the arvo on the hot days, best sugar content is around 9-10am. Cool to see the old TM I wonder who will be doing new hollands now Norwoods have lost the contract for new holland
Hey Andrew those drone shot show how good the farm and the Waikato countryside in general look. Nice and green especially for this time of the year. Keep up the good work Young Fella
Great to see ye are getting the rain to keep everything growing, the country is looking beautiful, don't forget though there's no guarantee that this will be a short drought weather could go against u later
Another great one sir...... January 🤣🫠 we are not quite that warm 🥶. Thank you for sharing that sun and warmth..... at lease we can dream 😌 😆 stay safe 🏴. Ps silage looks good for that time of year.
We made a stack on Wednesday. Started mowing at 6 am, rake started at 7 and wagons at 8. Our contractor is today making the 6th stack this week. This summer will be talked about for years to come
This year is weird. The spring rain never stopped, so summer dry has not started yet. Due to the wet paddocks there are a lot of balers getting stuck where they have never been stuck before. Maize was still being planted right up to christmas as the earlier plantings on the flats have been drowned, some places twice drowned. Late november is usually end of maize planting season. Summer earthworks season usually starts around october and runs until may. This year the earthworks will be just starting in January!!!
Yep drove past some the other day that wouldn't have even been a foot tall which is crazy for this time of the year! Even more rain coming by the looks of it so might have to start in February
I really enjoyed your Video Andrew your lucky that you had really good Weather to bale in . Best tractors are Fendt or any of these brands Kubota or Valtra or Massey Ferguson or New Holland or Case or Deutz. But they have to be fuel efficient and Servicing cost are low along with low parts cost too . I am Sure how much a New tractor costs in New Zealand with the brands l mentioned Andrew really
👀🙄🐾👍It's a good season for growing grass and making silage hay not so much hopefully we don't get Willie Jackson as PM on Sunday or it will be a case of last out turn the lights out
From IRELAND here nice to see that Mc hale working in New zeland

I'm so happy that you managed to cut the grass and bale it in January. Also the drone footage was awsome .take care from the UK.

Have you ever square baled any for yourself? I know the round bales are easier to feed but just wondering
No never have, I've brought squares but just prefer rounds

I'm a bit jealous of the weather 🤣
Is this all kikuyu grass, Andrew?
No just ryegrass
Its a bit wet at the moment here in Qeensland
Just wandering how much your getting changed per bale we’re paying 75 dollars a bale + gst cheers
I’m a bit jealous. So dry here in Otago
