Awesome game. You are a veteran player. I really like the way you play and are trying to master the game, but I am still playing at a difficult level of 200%. You play very well and inspire this game for many people. tks for tutorial videos
Never spare those pesky shocking towers. I once left one that seemed to have a good placement not realizing it was a massive doom town within it's noise radius. One discharge and I was toast. mostly as it never stopped making noise pulling every mutant on the map.
@@KenseiTV well, I just got obliterated at "peacefull" map when it became time for shocking towers as I pulled 3 mutants and was cornered by 2 doom towns xD You could say that mutants spell doom either way if the wave forces you to defend early on with noice machines.
I suppose it's no surprise that the starting soldier never went elite. You only ever had him fighting alongside snipers, which always oneshot everything including the stuff that he had started to shoot. He never had the chance to finish anything off, and his damage was ultimately always wasted. Maybe he helped a little against chubbys or harpies at some point, at most.
I find it immersion breaking that unit pathfinding has knowledge of paths in the fog of war. It should use only what you can see to make a path for the units.
I would call that either overly annoying (units wouldn't always get where you told them to go) or it would impact performance(for each moving unit, check if the path is currently blocked by vision, make a new path)
@@johnbyrnes6621 well units already do that checking and change their pathing towards enemies on attack move if they are in range. Zombies do it aswell towards buildings in their sight range etc. dont see why terrain within sight range would be dramatically different
@@bigzigtv706 the paths can all be predetermined before the map starts, instead of dynamically as vision expands. That lets you make a path "go from a to b" on a predetermined graph (attacking a specific enemy, etc.) vs recomputing the paths themselves
Seeing you did this i face palm at myself when i fail much easier map😂i love playing desert map Oh i played like 1000 times and i just realized that mutant only call friends after they attack? At 8:00 zombie from over the forest saw your lumber mill and walk a long way to your town.
After watching a bunch of these video's, I finally got the "Fishing Hut" bit. I thought it was for "Chad"... It was Chat. :) Hey, you have a Soldier named Bob! LOL
It does! I'm always sad when I miss the streams and only see the winning runs. It takes a piece of the fun away already knowing everything is going to work out
Maybe you can try to add some annotation like "what is happed "or "what are you focus right now",let us know you are work this done step by step.At least that can make the video more enjoyable for me.

True, and i wouldnt think it would be that hard as units adjust their pathing based on targets automatically as well

when the waves behave weirdly and 80% of two sides come trough a single chokepoint and the harpy wave overruns your forward position x.x

You have to manually make backups of the save files. It's a survival map
