10turn Rotor!!! How cool, that would certainly explain that magnificent 39mph speed fella. That's a bummer regarding the magnet..... worth potentially buying another one for donor can perhaps? Still looking for a decent O2H for when I finally get to build my egress. Great video once again man. 🙏 👍 👍 👍
I discovered the 10t as I disassembled the motor. And before, I was looking for one (always thought mine had a 13t). I guess I will look for a complete, not bad, 13t + a can in the future 😁🤝
Thanks 🤝Apparently, it's possible to glue the magnet with Loctite 326 after a good cleaning. Note sure I want to do this operation, it's better to source a can somewhere 🤞. If not, the motor, even faulty, will look good enough for display 😉🤝
I have one and will probably test it in the MF01x Challenge 😉 Still I will not go crazy with motor run on the PBRC challenge. Almost directly to the point 😁🤝
Well done on that great speed, Gabriel! Amazing considering the magnet was loose. Your videos are educational for me, as well as fun, I'm learning a lot about these old Tamiya motors! Cheers! 😎🏁👍
DUDE!!!!!!!! what a great speed but man oh man, the 02H.... Maybe a good cleaning and some high temp epoxy (thin stuff) and you can get the magnet back in (space the evenly). 39 Mph put you up there and I'm sure we'll see more speed in time.
Nice run! Love the series on the motors

Yup. For now 😁🤝

Wish you could try my tamiya Dyna run super touring 13turn. In this series

Thanks, kind of a miracle. Still so many Tamiya motors to run; 1 or 2 will take part in the Poor Boys RC Challenge 😉🤝
That was a huge jump in speed there! Sorry to hear it may be the last run for the motor but it went out in a great way!
Thanks. It gave all it got 😉🤝
Superb Gabriel, you are smashing it with that 39 mph run. Well Done 👍
Thanks. Slowly climbing 😁🤝

I will probably seek a new can one day. Yeah, "speed is coming" 😅🚀🤝
Does that kit you show breakin brushed motors and check rpm? What is it?
Hi, yes, you can break-in. It's an "evolved" rpm checker (no torque measure). Mine is a Team Orion, maybe reference ORI41614. Bought used on ebay 🤝
@@coygtrc nice. Thanks. I have a couple of low turn motors. I’d like to give them a run but think running them in might be useful
I would beg on both knees for holmes hobby to repair it.
Either I will track a can or in my next "buyee" crazyness, I will acquire a not bad one. Or both 😁🤝
First!
