  • Hi, my name is Olivia!
I was born with a rare genetic condition known as Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS for short). Living a normal life with this condition while receiving proper treatment and support is just about as rare as the condition. EDS causes a multitude of secondary conditions and with each secondary condition comes complications. In return this causes many medical professionals to reject patients that live with EDS out of fear from the unknown. This causes strain on ones mental health.
My goal in life is to help those that struggle with mental health by becoming a motivational speaker as well as raise awareness for EDS. I came to know of my life purpose through a miraculous experience that brought me faith. The struggles of this world are big and try to tear me down but my God is much greater and beyond the dirt of any planet.

It's great that you have a close family, looks like you had a fun day! Skittles is in the best of hands, lots of credit for being a good owner!

Hi Kim, welcome! Thank you for the compliment on my videos! ☺️
I was diagnosed by my geneticist with unspecified EDS. Neither of my parents have seen a geneticist to find out who it came from. I suspect it came from my mom because she has trouble with her skin, scarring, weird reactions, GI problems, etc… 🤷🏻‍♀️

I want to have a hospital and research hospital called LIFELINE because I truly believe people in this world need a lifeline here and there so I came up with that name I have high functioning autism that I don't like to talk about much. A lot of diseases aren't really understood about on knowledge of them.

ua-cam.com/users/ChronicallyJaquie has a great website for infusion backpacks. I got my infusion backpack from my home pharmacy (covered by insurance). Sorry I don’t have anything specific. Hiking backpacks with a 1L bladder are also a great option. For my feeding tube pump I just use any backpack purse, nothing special and no modifications. Hope this helps! ☺️

Skittles is a sugar glider ☺️ Sugar gliders are small marsupials that live in colonies found in Australia. Kangaroos are another type of marsupial and female sugar gliders have pouches just like them. Skittles is an un-neutered male sugar glider so he has a bald spot on the top of his head, known as a scent gland but he doesn’t have a pouch.

No, I have not. My doctor hasn’t brought it up but I may need to at my next appointment. I’m currently on an immunoglobulin binder though.
