congratulations on your new apartment

You know what as someone who has lived on her own for 23 years. And has moved every year /year and a half due to circumstances beyond my control this is a pretty decent size apartment even if you're sharing it with someone. The furniture may be old but you can make it your own. You were saying about the desk you can always put a board and then put contact paper on the board to cover it up or And put a tapestry over it if you choose. As someone who also has a disability I can tell you those things take up space😂 I have a walker, I have an extra Walker, I have hand canes and I have spare parts for both..😂 and I've always lived in a bachelor or one bedroom most of them were bachelors and I did live in a couple bedrooms too. In the 23 years I've lived on my own and the years I was living at my parents house baskets and bins were always the best for me. They keep me organized they're easy to lift, everything is functional doesn't always look aesthetically pleasing but it works. Enjoy your time there and your puppy is so cute

There is quite literally nothing like being dropped off for the first time in a new city. I will never forget it! One of the strangest moments of my life. My mom gave me some of the simplest advice, but it helped me a lot: she said “if you get bored, or sad: just do what you would normally do at home. Remember that it’s normal to not be out all the time, or socializing all the time. It’s normal to have days and nights where you are bored or there’s ‘nothing to do.’” Idk, I feel like it helped me because in college you feel like something is wrong with you if you aren’t on the go all the time, but that’s obviously not realistic or normal. You aren’t alone!

I think I'm good without it. In all 13yrs that I've been driving, I've never lost my keys except this one time. If it were to ever happen again, I'd definitely get an air tag. Thanks for caring though!

Prayers sent for everything to go well and to get all necessary information! The pain from my test eventually went away and my doctors found out everything they needed to know from the test so I’d say that I’m doing well ☺️

It was just the girl. She’s young (early 20’s) and a private individual that I found on fb marketplace. She was just trying to get out of her lease payments & agreement without it affecting her credit so that she could move somewhere else since she graduated early. Apparently she was so eager that she was willing to lie and trick people into signing over her lease. The leasing office is totally separate from her, which is why they told on her lies. They are most certainly legit but I appreciate your concerns! ☺️

I believe the healthcare is good but the insurance is certainly not the best.

That Alber Emotion sounds interesting. How’s the battery life? If I’m remembering correctly, I think I had 3 power assist options. Other than the smoov, the two other options were smart drive and some sort of power assist wheels (maybe what you have). I remember the tech guy told me that the power assist wheels don’t have as good of a battery life and that when the batteries die it’s very hard to move the wheelchair. He also told me that they can’t get wet at all. I totally would’ve chosen the power assist wheels if they didn’t have those cons. Thanks for watching! ☺️

​@@OliKeepingTheFaithThe battery is no problem, I never stranded without power. You can use the wheels and charge them in the night. For vacacions, the charger is not big and storing in package is easy. I'm living in a four season area with lot's of rain and even snow. Innever had a problem with water. The manual says to be careful, no heavy rain etc., but I think that's mainly because of laws. If it rains that heavy, I won't leave the house with a wheelchair anyways. And not to drive in a pool is clear, I think 😂. My dream is, that the wheels get a bit lighter.... That would be great 🎉.

Now I feel cheated 🤣 maybe the smoove would’ve still been the better option for me because it takes up less space when I’m not using it and it’s lighter… I can only hope 😂

​@@OliKeepingTheFaithI think the smoove is great. If I had to decide between smoov and Emotion, I couldn't. Every attachment has its pro and cons 🤷🏻‍♀️
