I love how Tai just hangs back, chilling, watching , with a big smile. His lifelong and ongoing, piece of paradise. Noah’s ark , for the silent animal kingdom. Thank you Kennan for sharing your friends with us.
those cages where the albino asian water monitor is at are def small. The fancy stone cement enclosures are kinda nice i guess but def feels like he could have done something bigger with cages.
@@radicalreptilesvic lol how dumb can you be how about you spend your hole life at your house around your property see how long till you go crazy if you can't give the animal enough space that it would in the wild you shouldn't be owning them ague that
@@biggzygaming2115 , so basically your argument is that none of these creatures should be kept in captivity?! What about for conservation? Or if the animal cannot be safely released back into the wild? What then? Is your argument also that we should let nature take its course?
I didn’t see her “Boa” head right away. Love those enclosures lots of thought into them and as always beautiful animals. Can see that they are very well taken care of
I can’t wait for Iguana Land to open!! The Argus is so beautiful and I’m jealous of Anna.😊 What a perfect job. Ty, if you ever need an “old lady” (I’m 60) on staff, I’m not far away!🤣😂 Thanks Kenan, for bringing us along. It’s a privilege to even watch these beautiful animals on video. 🦎❤️🦎
I will always have a soft spot in my heart for Argus Monitors. I used to have a female. She would tripod all the time, and it was the neatest thing! She used to get so curious when I would clean her enclosure, and she would tripod to get a better look inside the bucket I used. Very controlled motions, like you pointed out. I bet her tail weighed almost as much as the rest of her body, which probably helps them balance so well in that position. She was an awesome animal in pretty much every way, and I miss her dearly! But if anyone reading this is considering getting one, be advised: They are a LOT of lizard to deal with! They're not the largest monitors you can get, but they certainly make up for that in so many ways! Big personalities, high energy, and exceptionally intelligent. Not for the novice keeper!
So smart,so smart! I cant believe how people still say the monitor lizard is so smart when all they have ever been trained to do is a natural act and maybe coming to their keeper when called. Rock iguanas are far smarter then any reptile and I am surprised big name reptile people like Ty and Kenan are still pushing that myth. I sure hope Ty starts working with the rock iguanas and discover the intelligence of the rock iguana like I did.
Oh wow! Arnold is stunning! I live in Australia and I didn’t know about these guys! But by your description of their habitat, I’m guessing that there wouldn’t be any of them near where I live! I do see water monitors from time to time though and they are amazing! I live across the road from a canal and I go for a walk along it every evening. There is one particular spot where I often see quite a small water monitor, I’m guessing it is a juvenile. But they are so well camouflaged that if you aren’t looking for it, it actually just looks like a little branch from one of the trees, just lying there amongst the needles from the trees on the ground! I only spotted it for the first time because it ran right across the path I was on, right in front of me! Then it must have seen me as it just stopped mid motion and stayed perfectly still! Amazing creatures! I love getting to see him quite regularly, he’s always around the same spot! If I am ever lucky enough to be able to get back to the states, I would absolutely visit Ty’s park, Iguana land. That place looks fantastic! I’m really jealous of Anna! What a dream job she has!
Beautiful Red Tail! The Venezuelan are my favorite BCC, but the Suriname are def amazing. Ty is right about how overfed many have been in the past, but I think we have realized their slow metabolisms over the years thankfully. There's so many wonderful localities too, BCI to BCL and BCO (or the new classification, I like locality names myself) And those monitors... Awesome! Can't wait to get an Ackie lol. Thanks Kenan!
Ty, your mission of conservation and reintroduction sets you apart. Beautiful and full of hope for reptiles for the world! Yes.... Kenan needs an Argus !
@@KampKenan Arnold is the perfect name for him, too. I'm getting Happy Days flashbacks. The fry cook who originally owned the burger place in Happy Days was named Arnold (he took the name from the burger place because it was difficult for the customers to say his Japanese name) and played by Pat Morita. I don't know why that's sticking my head now. Possibly a Karate Kid crossover, too. Miyagi was also played by Pat Morita. What an elegant lizard. He stood up in a posture that doesn't look much different than Slinky's swimming pose.
Awe Kenan Ty Doing Amazing job on his cages just epic for sure love ty and his animals thanks so very much epic for sure.. LOve it Bell face chandler has one and he so friendly too..
Great video Kamp Kenan, Tom, Ty, Todd, Anna; and whoever I missed, thank you whoever was also part of this educational team video! Keep up the good work and harmony between y'all with creating more content like this once a week... surround each other with good believing, good hearted members who are alike, who enjoy caring for reptiles and animals. Those believers in good will be the most faithfully friends because they believe in something great, something good. That goodness can become a chain of reptiles keeper who can educate and help one another on proper way to keeping lizards and monitor lizards in captivating.
Love those big enclosures, they are nice!! Arnold is a handsome monitor, his coloring is gorgeous - you should have gotten one of his species when you had the chance!!
Kennan, you should've taken the offer for the Argus Monitor. They are one of the coolest breeds out there. They my not have to high color or amazing patterns as some out there but their intelligence more then makes up for it. With that said my number 1 buck list Monitor is a Green Tree Monitor. I've wanted one for going on... it has to be over 20 years now when I first seen them at the San Diego Zoo. I wouldn't mind a black or even a blue tree Monitor but the Green is my number 1. I know for a lot of Monitor keepers is the Bell phase but not for me.
Coolest enclosures Ty!! Noice!! Whitethroat name: Sweettooth! Aww but Fedora is cute too That Argus monitor takes the cake tho, you gotta get one Kenan!!
Amazing animals i loved them. The biggest reptile i have is a Blue Tegu which grows around the 4-5ft size and i love them they are like babies but built like tanks. After Christmas I'm getting a Zero Bearded dragon which I'm looking forward to it's a morph I've always wanted so i'll be working on a naturalistic enclosure unfortunately the UK being the UK as in the whether it will be a indoor enclosure but still big but in summer will be housed in a outdoor enclosure, But also when we get our Zero Bearded Dragon our children will be able to use it for educational for show and tell.
I wonder if he can make the hides out if a clear material, and then cover it, so he can just take the cover off and we can easily see these amazing creatures without disturbing them much 🦎
Enclosure design and finish are really good and I am sure they are well taken care of but I personally felt that the size of the enclosures were pretty small!
I really hope Florida Fish and Game doesn't decide to ban private ownership of all monitors and Cyclura iguanas. That's why it's important to be active in ARK even if you don't have theses animals yourself. I miss being able to do green iguana rescue : >(
