Damn straight. And a modest fellow to boot. I have a bunch of photos taken 2 years or so ago, on my Facebook account adh_drumsnaps if u look through the albums.
I know....sad but true...and now, sadly Boon has left the building....I agree with you that they had a combined magic that was undeniable , and that isn't just sentimental talk.
Phil is such an incredibly soulful musician...His time , touch and pocket are heavenly!
Top drummer. Fresh. Mountain air. Crisp. Hi Fi. Spacious. Tasty. And modern.
Magic drummer. Much missed from the limelight.Glad he's still playing. UK.
nice to see him back to long missed .well done phil great drummer
3 of my favorite drummers are Jeff Porcaro, Steve Gadd and Phil Gould! He's right up there!!!

Cheers man!
I also liked Phil Gould. My video from the same masterclass at London Drum Show 2013 is at London Drum Show 2013 - Phil Gould (Colour Of My Pain)
Do it Phil!
I wish Phil and his brother Boon and would join back up with Level 42. The band doesn't sound nearly as good without them. :(

Level 42 went downhill musically when he left them, IMO.
Yes I think a dynamic was lost when the Gould's went. What followed was a different band. Which I liked too. But that's subjective of course.
Have you heard the album "Guaranteed" - 2 maybe 3 songs worth listening to. The rest "rubish". Sorry Mark and Mike but it's true.
