You've just gained a subscriber. Thanks for all the info. Really helpful especially since I've been considering the Yamaha R3 as a beginner and was worried about how it would do on a highway. I look forward to your future riding videos!
I'm about to buy a bike. I haven't ridden for years so decided to get a beginner bike. Im down to choosing between the R3 or Ninja. The other day I went and looked at and sat on a ninja and I gotta say it looked pretty intimidating. Is the R3 the same?
@@theradioattheendoftheworld4251 it depends which ninja you got on, if it's the ninja zx series or the ninja sports touring bikes like the ninja 400, 500, 650 etc. If it's the zx series forsure those are far more intimidating and aggressive compared to the R3. If it was the ninja 400/500 series, I would say those are some what similar to the R3. Personally, i'd prefer the R3 over the ninja 400,500. I think the R3 has all 3. The comfortability (ergos), power, & looks.
@@OmniVisionElite that depends on the dealer you go to, and how much you bargain the price down as well. I know some dealer where they have mark ups and some that do not. Check w your local dealer if they're willing to sell without mark up !
California with dumb gun laws but allowing filtering and splitting you know what I might live there because this reason if I was an American. Man traffic sucks. Also go track man, it just helps you improve faster and be more confident in your bike. Just go for it, if money wise wait I guess. But don't be a straight line because oh I need a 1000 because my friendls leave me on the straights, get better friends.
@@AKATUSKI_150 you mean lane filtering? Land splitting is going hell fast with traffic. While filtering is slow speed passing cars that are stationary or really slow speed. Lane splitting is very dangerous imho. Don’t wanna be between a truck or cars as you pass because people won’t notice you going 110 kmph because they zone out. Still ride it’s fun man good skill to have.
@@AKATUSKI_150 don’t matter just try it gender has nothing to do with riding. Just be safe and vigilant. Always take courses, learn and grow. Don’t jump on a 600 or 1000 straight away. Make the right biker friends. Good luck
WAY too fast on those city streets at the end. Filter, split, ride fast but be smart about it, not where there are many cross streets, distracted drivers, pedestrians, etc. Your number one job is to return home safely. Actually, it should be return home safely and dont put innocents at risk. Good video though!
