- Momma said there would be days like this! Follow along with me while I am chasing down the winning bass on Lake Guntersville for the first FLW Tour of 2017. This video will show you the ups and downs of my bass tournament and some funny behind the scenes along the way.. Hope you enjoy!

As far as I can remember growing up, seeing your father on tv fishing Lake Okeechobee pulling them hawgs out of that cover with 12" powerworms was incredible.I learned alot from him and enjoyed every minute of it. As a young boy my father introducing me to the sport of bass fishing in the early 80's and watched him fishing big worms in hydrilla.It put me on big fish as well,over here at Lake Amistad , Tx. Now I am all about Jigfishing for bigbass in deep structure but if it weren't for watching your father I would have never gotten hooked on this sport like father like son #LEGENDS of this sport, God bless you both and your families

Thanks Scott. Did not expect a reply, but hope my comments and prayers helped. I'm a retired CPA and know the pressure involved with a small business. A bad tournament has ramifications that most people don't know about. Best solution : more hugs from the ones you love. As a side note My brother in law and I have hired a guide out of the Roland Martin Marina on March 6th. Can't wait to try Florida bass fishing. Please say a prayer for me as well. I think I will need it.
Hey Scott , long time follower and fan of you brother. You dont have to apologize for not getting on them god just has a bigger win planned for you. We all have tournaments and days like that just thank the lord that you have the opportunity to be there and compete. Im fishing the big bass tour on harris chain in a couple of weeks and last year I lost a big donkey with 10 mins to weigh in . So i know the feeling brother . Just stick with what you know and fish and keep god in your pocket your gonna do really well in Texas . PMA . love ya man ! I'm really glad I have you to look up too 👊👊

Great video. When I started watching bass fishing as a child your father was my favorite fisherman. You are continuing that legacy while creating a legacy of your own. It's the bad days that make the good ones good and drive you to be even better than you already are. I like that even after an awful day you stood up there at the podium and acted like a professional. Put on a good show for all the people who look up to you.

Its so hard to pattern fish in cold front conditions.
When i have a tough day prefish i feel the same way.
All you can do is start the tournament as a prefish day.

After watching this video I had to comment. I've gotten into fishing local tournaments over the past three years and this years spring has just been plain awful! So much so I have begun to doubt myself which I feel is only making things worse. It was refreshing to see someone with as much fishing knowledge as you be as stumped as I was a week and a half ago at Tappan lake Ohio. A lake btw I've been fishing since I was 12 and I'm 38! Anyway love what you guys are doing and congratulations on Cumberland! God bless!!

Love the videos Scott. I believe that it would be a great idea to make a video about how you begin getting prepared for a tournament. Include the very beginning from picking apart the lake map all the way to your setting your rods up and your mindset/strategy for day 1 of the tournament.
I believe I speak for much of us watching these videos when i say we would love to see something like this. Keep up the awesome videos!!

Dang that really sucks scott. I do have to say I do learn quite a lot from your videos. I'm in a community fishing tournament at Lake Osbourne and I also like to fish in Lake Ida. Your videos teach a lot of young anglers like myself about how to look for fish and how tournaments work. Keep it up scott!
