The question i want to ask is, the general university entry is the same as WAEC right? And can i also use my WAEC in place of IELTS as proof of english proficiency since i studied in English speaking country (Nigeria)?
Usually, a semester or two qualifies as the same level as the German Abitur. You might need to submit a transcript and you would get this at the tertiary level not in most secondary schools. If IELTS is requested, I'd suggest writing it since you haven't completed a degree otherwise a letter of attestation might suffice. I'd suggest contacting the university directly to know if they'd accept your English grade in WAEC. They will have a better idea.

If a language certificate is required you can send an email to confirm if a letter of attestation of language of instruction will be accepted in place of a language test.
