Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park March 2024 - Ep3 Day 3 A quiet day around Nossob Camp (with some rain)

I was in the Kgalagadi from the 17-22 March as a belated birthday trip. March is green season in the Kgalagadi still but the lack of rain and high temperatures meant the park was looking quite dry still, with a few patches of longer grass.
After the first two days in the park peaked at temperatures at or above 40 degrees Celsius we had a break in the weather in form of an early morning windstorm and light showers for most of the morning after that. The rain was still not quite all that the park needed but was at least some relief after long hot days. The animals while scarce still, provided some great sightings!
Really enjoy your commentary as you explore the park. We're going later in May for the first time.

Which camps will you be staying at!
You share your thoughts with "internal talk" and take us along for the ride from our homes. Too many people release KGT videos with no narrating, which I find extremely boring. We stay 3 nights TR, 3 nights Nossob River chalets, 2 nights MM river chalet, 1 night Kalahari tent, 2 nights Kieliekrankie and 2 nights Urikaruus.

Hi there! Any idea how the Pilanesberg is looking at the moment? Will be going there end of this month.
Hi I was in the park last Saturday. Some of the tar roads are bad with potholes and some dirt roads corrugated after the late rains in May. Sightings are getting better as we head into winter and the grass gets shorter, but the grass is still long and lush in some areas. Will be there again on Saturday and I’ll revert
