FYI you can pull the window switch out without removing the door panel if you want. That one torx screw at 3:20 will just pull out if lose enough or that entire plastic cone it's screwed to will pop off. It's just glued on. You don't need it putting the new switch in.
I was told by a Volvo technician that if I replaced the switch/module it would need to be programmed. Is this true? Or can I buy the swith and replace it if its clicking like crazy and not working anymore?
Was a great job except She forgot to re-attach the speaker leads for the tweeter.
This is a great instructional video. Before you buy a new master switch, try to clean with air can and electronic cleaner first. I did twice and it worked ( VIP: disconnected and reconnect all) . btw: A1 Auto doesn't sell this switch.

The guy who “fixed” mine broke everything in the process and the controller still doesn’t work. lol hate my Volvo so much.
Metal on Plastic is a textbook no-no. You are leaving permanent marks all over the car. Trim tools are cheap.
Right ? ipd sells an entire trim tool kit for change .
