I just found your channel and I could cry I’m so happy! I’ve been struggling to help my 3 year old with articulation and extreme speech delays. These videos are amazing and give me so much hope that I can help him. Thank you!
You are such a natural - I’ve learned so much from you. Would love a video example on how you join in with child if they’re lining up everything and anything. If I move the line there’s a tantrum so quite I’m left confused 🤔
My 23 month old just had his speech Evaluation for Speech Delay & you came HIGHLY recommended! I’ve checked out a couple of your videos and I see why! Thank you! 😊
Thank you so much for all of your videos! My son is 2 and the possibility of apraxia has been mentioned. Your videos have helped us a great deal with helping him develop more sounds! THANK YOU. 🙏🏽✨
Hi Kelli, I love your videos and try to apply as much of what you show to my daughter who has autism and is non verbal. I often see you making hand gestures to stimulate speech in children. What's the reason for that? Thank you.
Hi I really appreciate that you are helping people including me and my child. My 5 year very mild autistic child does know lots of words but he only says first syllabus not the whole word. And sometimes he just make face without sound how can I help him.
So sometimes “groping” which is moving the mouth without sound can be a characteristic of Childhood Apraxia of Speech, which is also comorbid with Autism, just to keep that in mind for treatment approaches with therapists. Here’s a video for weak syllable deletion! ua-cam.com/video/XmTlkjhmeiM/v-deo.html
Hello, I love your videos. I watched a video once and you showed a barn or house that a key is used to open doors. I have looked and looked for that toy. Can you please help?
My daughter just turned 4 at the end of October. She has a speech delay. Receiving therapy once a week in school and now starting 2 times a week outside of school. She has a huge vocabulary with words but they believe she’s Gestalt. What are things we should do at home to help her? Any books or specific videos you’ve made that can help? Thanks in advance!
@@anushamoonlover3945 she’s talking a lot more and teacher and her aides at school have commented on that as well. She’s still in speech therapy and i try to talk to her and have her repeat things i want her to say as much as i can. She still has a ways to go but there’s progress for sure. You have to act as if your describing everything you’re doing like you’re narrating your actions so your kiddo can learn to connect the phrase with what it is you’re physically doing or trying to convey. Good luck to you and your family. It’s emotionally overwhelming but give all the love and support you can!
Hi What about multilingual ? My son is 2 year s 10 months old doesn't know how to talk ,he speaks words with rhymes or repeat rhymes but doesn't talk to us!!
I have my now 3 years old as of the 29/06 who recently started to say words one word , sings nursery rhymes super active and need improvement in speech . Any advices in ways I can help him ? He knows his alphabets letter sounds identify colours shapes
Yes! Try adding ONE word onto the word he is saying - sit / stand / run next to him while he plays, say what he says and add one word, such as (him:) "ball!" you: RED ball!!! or GO ball! while you throw it, etc! Use his movement as an advantage (children usually produce more language when participating in gross motor movement and play!) Just join him and keep expanding or use Verbal Routines (fill in the blanks) to provide more time for response: "ready, set, (pause!!!) ___")
Thank you for your helpful videos. My 4 years old does not pronounce K and G sounds. She pronounces them as T and D. I do not know how to teach her to pronounce them correctly.
Can she make the sounds k and g in isolation? If not that’s the first step, you can try and encourage this sound through using magic finger technique have a look on Google (basically tilt head back slightly open mouth and use own finger to hold tongue down while you attempt k sound)
This is called fronting the sounds - ensure she can elevate her tongue first! Tilting chin up during productions will help as well! Check out this video for more help!

She does not pronounce the letters well, not in a word, or in isolation.
Thanks for the reply, I'll do this technique.
