- Kacey Musgraves has finally revealed the reason behind her divorce from her ex-husband, Singer-Songwriter, Ruston Kelly. This reveal comes after almost one year since the divorce was announced to the public.

She speaks about seasons changing in the interview. In the first few lyrics of her new song “Justified” she sings:
“It was a fun, strange summer/
I rolled on, didn't think of you/
We lost touch with each other/
Fall came and I had to move.”
Moving on takes two. Always has. Always will.
Two people fell in love then fell out of love. It’s a story as old as time.
They did not merely fall out of love.
They quit.
You can’t fall out of love. They refused to make it work.
Good for them it's good that they called it quits before dragging each other I admire her so much
Not everyone likes being married. It's not that you don't love each other whole heatedly. You remain friend's and live your life. It's a grand thing when you separate from your other half and still love each other and stay friends.

If you love each other wholeheartedly, you don't get divorced. And remaining friends? Why? If you have kids, sure. Anything else is simply playing games and trying to forget you were way more than friends.
It is not all that grand and beautiful for the babies and children caught in the middle.

Besides Kacey seems to have gone after a taller and darker kind of guy.
They wrote their way to a Grammy together. Worked out pretty good, even thought it didn’t.

Some couples isn't marriage material. Some just want to have a normal relationship. Just because your together and you have a child doesn't mean you can't get married. It takes two to make a relationship work with or without marriage.

But those feelings never last. The more you get to know someone, the more ways you learn you are different and not compatible.
And then you meet other new people and lose even more interest in the person you are in a relationship with. The real question is why do grown adults who have been down that road keep going back to it and keep making the same mistake over and over. I am looking at you JLo.

We keep telling people to be open to love, making people (women especially) that marriage is what we are supposed to do. They tried it. It didnt work. It doesn't always.

You're right he struggled with addiction in the past and she didn't respect his need for a sober household to stay sober. She wanted to drink and do drugs more than her marriage.
