- in today’s video i’m going to show y’all what a week in my life looks like as a full-time swiftie 💜
it’s been a few weeks since eras tour LA and i’m just now getting back into my routine :’) to combat the post-eras depression, i’ve been trying to track down all the taylor swift vinyls that are missing from my collection! i decided to vlog a week in my life as a swiftie because it’s truly funny to me that almost every day my work involves taylor 😂 a true blessing if you ask me.
i found some OG taylor vinyls at my local record store and i was so excited!! i wanted to do a little haul and unboxing for y’all. and also talk about the new 1989 (Taylor’s Version) cover variants that Taylor has been releasing sporadically the past couple weeks :)
Taylor played 4 shows in Mexico city this past weekend and i was able to film my reaction to a few of them and can i say i was devastated at the loss of cornelia street and afterglow🥲 i knew this day was coming and that i would not even be able to be there lol but i was still gutted hahaha. i can’t complain too though much because i got some pretty kick ass surprise songs in LA :)

The wall space above your record player would look amazing with a bunch of vinyl displayed. Just a thought! Amazon has these clear vinyl shelves so you can display them but also easily still take them down and play them. I’m happy to share a link if you’d like.

I started collecting vinyls last year too and it became compulsive too 🙈I just can't help it !!! The amount of Taylor Swift and Lana Del Rey vinyls I collected in a year is quite insane and each time I go to the store I have to check the vinyls section even if I have all of them 😂
I also took Taylor's surprise songs choices in Mexico very personally since she played my favorite Midnights song for the 2nd time 😭 (SOTB) and then my favorite Lover song the next day (Cornelia Street) 😭!!! It's. Personal.

I just started collecting vinyls myself after buying 5 Midnights vinyls (made the clock and bought a 2nd Jade cuz its my fav!) I bought a record player and decided to just go all in!
I've since added Lover Target Blue/Pink Edition, Folklore Target Red Edition, Evermore Target Red Edition, Fearless TV Target Gold Edition, Red TV Target Red Edition, Speak Now TV Orchid Edition.
I've also bought all 3 1989 TV Editions 🩵
I really want her stolen versions especially REP but I don't want to give money to THEM so I'll try to find re-sale vinyls.

I really want in the weeds: folklore vinyl… it’s so expensive. But adorable with her head poking out of the grass!!!!! I need it!!! This is the new me too- never been into vinyls but also into collecting her records and I don’t even have a record player😂 just the photography and the art for her albums who have really made a difference in my life I just can’t resist!
I really want to start collecting vinyls but I don't have a record player (I want to get one soon). I am wondering how much work is needed to preserve the vinyl and if it us worth it to start collecting them without having a record player. Great video as always!

Nena, you should have the OG versions actually DOWNLOADED onto your phone via a CD player connected to your laptop. That's what I have to not give Scooter any money. Also, the CD's are a lot cheaper than the vinyls! I also think you can get a CD player that connects to your laptop/computer pretty cheap now, too! Just a suggestion from a fellow Swiftie who's on a budget & can't afford the higher-cost of vinyls!! 😉
Nena, don’t worry about the $ you spend on what you love! I just ordered the Vogue UK January 2020 magazine that has Taylor on the cover and sexiest photoshoot I’ve ever seen of her. It was $31 but with shipping from the UK , $68. The only time I’ve seen this available before it was over $200 so I’m thrilled! I’m interested to see you how you hang the vinyls because I’d like to do that too but don’t know how😂
I cut my hair to about shoulder length to celebrate the release, but not a full bob because my I didn’t want to commit - but I would definitely recommend some sort of haircut. Was super fun to do and something I’ve never done before for an album release!

Surprisingly, at my local mall I found the debut album and I got it immediately! And it was my first Taylor swift record!
I don't collect vinyls being that they're really expensive but, I collect CDs. I have all of the stolen versions on CD along with the Taylor's versions I have so far. Once the rest of the Taylor's Versions are released, I'll only listen to them while streaming her music but, only will listen to the stolen versions on the CD.

I got so lucky on my debut vinyl I only paid $20 at bam books-a-million! For some reason it was “priced incorrectly” but they said I could have it for that price !
I would totally send you my original Red vinyl. Since I got the TV version I have no use for it since I’m not an avid collector. I listened to it like once so it’s in great shape. I’ve been wondering what to do with it or if there’s even a demand for it now.
